It’s so degrading! your story forshadows my married life in future. :o .. If my hubby feels that way a bit, I will talk it out with my family not in a way that they feel weird or anything. Things should run smoothly in one’s married life or it will come down to you. Why let the problems pile up?
I know where you are coming from. My guy has never been to states, he’s a pure Paki and my family is very americanized. He won’t like it here, because the way my sisters are. They like Amreekan things and they think like them too. Even though they know their values and what their limits are, but still the person who comes from a totally different background will find himself in a very awkward and an uneasy situation. I won’t simply let them rip him apart like that.
