My houseguest *sigh*

yup.. Munni... it sure does sound u like him.And I think it's high time u got married being 36 and all :p

wow, my sympathies, i hate those kind of situations

cant he find another place to stay???

aaaaahhhh poor you :flower1: think on the bright side…like you 've got your own room where you CAN hide. :0) try to be calm

Get a grip girl.

I have to say that it's awefully selfish of your parents to give more consideration to someone not part of the family over someone who is.

That is just my take, if I had a sister/daughter who told me that my house guest is making it so that she can't live a normal life, I would have my guest make other arrangements.

But that's just me. Unfortunately I'm not the Taqalluf type who insists on doing the "right" thing and have my family pay the consequences.

:hehe: this is soooo funny, u got feeling for that dude munni, or something like it, try ignoring him, that works sometimes, if you r gonna be all shy die cry baby around him, some guys think you r showin em signs, so u r smart, show some confidence babe!

I dont like him, really. He doesnt see me doing that at all. Cause he isnt around to see it, only my family is. He just noticed that I am always in my room.

I can’t help being shy!!! sigh

aahmed, yeah, I am with you there. I think my parents should not let him stay past April because everyone else has made adjustments as well, just they are going about it better than I am cause I am the only shy person in my family. Nobody in my family thinks I like him, I dunno why you all do. sighZ

Munni

there is something black in the lentils
i.e.
daal mein kucch kala hai

hmmmmmm

hmmm is there something else you want to tell us?? :rotato:

giggle You guppies! Honestly!

Do I have to take a lie detector test to prove I dont like him like that? uffh tobah hehe.

I wanted advice on how to deal with it, not questions on if I like him or nottttttttttt. cwy

Daal mei kuch kala nahin hai, whats kaala is that everyone is thinking I like him when I dont. sighZ

PA, no, there is nothing you all need to know. Kuch nahin ho raha hai. hehe

It is unusual for a someone in their 20s to be so shy. Perhaps this is a good chance to overcome your shyness in a controlled environment. How about you sitting with your family and guest while they are having a conversation? You would not have to contribute much to the conversation and can get used to being around people who are not your family.

^^ I agree, it's very unusual...I used to be like this when I was 14-15 but I matured after that...

Munni, you cutie pie! :D Well, my only advice to you is try to be BOLD...The only person who should feel uncomfortable around the house is him not you. It's your house, try to do your own thing. Don't pay too much attention to him and you'll be fine!! :)

Oh, I got another idea...you know you should observe your behaviour a bit and be self conscious and I'm sure you'll find those things to be weird and strange(that's how I changed myself). I'm sure you won't be too shy after a while!

:)

lie detector test or not, Your "khi khi khi" that has been going on throughout this thread leads ppl to believe otherwise.

P.S. do you bite on a corner of teh duppatta and do khi khi khi when you see him? :D

^

Munni: U heard the man. Answer him now! :D

LOL

I laugh cause I know my own behavior is kinda funny when I put it down on paper and read it , and even when I dash into my room I have fits of laughter, but laughing doesnt mean its not a serious issue. I like to take a lighthearted approach in looking at my own actions. grin

I had to take advil yesterday due to tension headache, with all the eye shifting to the kitchen door. sigh

I wrote a thread many moons ago about Shyness in Corner Room, and admitted that I suffer from a form of social phobia. Now I am in a situation where I am forced to do something about it, and iz juss awful. I sometimes like to ignore things and hope they will go away. sighZ

i am sorry but this is just hilarious .. i wish mehnaz would stay around mine

^So you can blush and run around hiding???

I don't think he can fully hide at 17. YouknowwhatImean?

No fg I don't know what you mean. Can you elaborate please?
