Calamine lotion.. I'm allergic to corriander/mint etc..calamine lotion calms my hands. But I no longer do ANY kitchen-work without gloves.. be it chopping onions, peeling garlic or washing meat.
A trick my grandmother told me was to submerge my hands in cold milk or apply yoghurt when sumthing like this happens. It works!

on a serious note, I heard that Mehndi also works .. it soothes the irritation down

Someone got a call from some aunty who is hellbent on getting someone hitched within 6 months and was told she had potential someonesssss lined up that someone should consider and someone was so furious that someone would think that they would consider some of those someones that someone went on a cooking spree something someone has never dreamt someone would ever do…
come to think of it the hands burning could have been a physical reaction from the anger someone expressed rathar than the cooking
