Who is on the mailing list for My Glam?

Are you guys happy with it? Its $10 a month and last month was really nice but this month :frowning:

^Like Birchbox but more geared towards a younger crowd. It was founded by a bunch of Youtube gurus.

Personally, I'm over monthly subscriptions but if I wasn't moving I'd resubscribe to Birchbox because they actually had high-end makeup samples and introduced me to some great new brands I wouldn't have heard of otherwise.

I almost went with Birchbox but then did MyGlam instead.

I might cancel or do both or is that just dumb?

^Depends if you like the makeup selection of My Glam. I personally don't so I avoided it from the get-go.

I agree. The products given this month weren't bad, but I don't think it was enough for the $10 price. The lipstick I got was in the color "Joy Veil" which is actually very pretty. It's a rose color, looks nice on deski skintone, but it smells and tastes bad. You can't help but get the bitter taste in your mouth which is nasty. The perfume sample I didn't even check but it's something that you can get for free so I was like uh.. yeah, not too impressed this month.

I've been trying to find a good link where I can see exactly what Birchbox subscribers have been getting every month, but can't find a good link. I might switch over if I like it better.

Omg Pseudo spot on! The perfume sample we could get for free so what was that? It wasn't even in the nice spritzer vial...it was the tube-y looking one and I hate those. I got the manicure and the Studio Gear lipstick in Misty Mauve which was pretty but it tasted so bad...which means it was kinda cheap. L'Oreal lipsticks don't even have that taste anymore and that's a drugstore brand.

I unsubbed last month... I guess it was a good decision! I'm not a huge fan of BB though, I feel they put in entirely too many lotions in there... though ppl seem to have been quite happy the last few months. I suppose you could check out BB reveals on Youtube for the last few months to see what they've been putting in.

Heck, ELF lipsticks and lipglosses don't even smell bad! i'm very disappointed, I feel like I got $3 worth of items for my $10.

I got it.

They put another Circus polish in it in yet another impractical color...a really really bright orange.

Not impresses with this bag.

There was one they sent out a month or two ago with a sample of the living proof nourishing cream for hair...that cream was really good for my curly hair. I got a big bottle of it even though it was superrrrrrrrrr pricey.

The perfume oil smells okay, but the scent is so light it's useless.

The nail polish is bright, in your face pink and tbh, i'm not impressed with the quality one bit.

The lipgloss is nothing special, I have an ELF $1 lipgloss that works 10x better.

The random itty bitty creams aren't something i'm fond of or ever use.

and that eyeshadow, it's crap. First of all, it's just a sample, something you could get for free from MAC or sephora and the quality is sooo bad. You need to use tons to get any color at all.

I hated this months bag, and the last few were just okay too. I'm contemplating whether I should unsubscribe now or give it one last try.

Seriously, once in a blue moon they might smack their head on the pavement and send out good stuff but otherwise I think I am going to stop now.
