You did nothing wrong. Some guys/girls feel better about themselves if they know they are desirable to others, and they may continue to do so even after being committed. In fact, sometimes they need the attention more after they are committed- they want to feel wanted. This people deserve people that are like them- not someone like you- and the relationship will work out better- either each person will realize that it kinna sux to have their partner be in the attention of others, so they will tone it down OR they will enjoy their partner being liked by others. You are the type that will never be happy with this sort of person.
I think it's fair to say that it was only an engagement that broke, not a divorce. I don't know how harsh aunties can be, but to me an engagement falling through does not seem that bad, I think it can happen to anyone; don't consider that you have a daag- you did nothing wrong and should hold your head up high
