Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
Hi dawn, I will pm you the price.
This outfit is crinkle chiffon (lined) with shoulder area using silk. The work is cut dana, beads, sequins and threadwork. There is no dabka or anything metallic.
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
Hey viewers,
I placed an order with Stoppit recently and just wanted to share a little review on the service provided to me so far
The outfit I ordered was a replica lengha which I had an image of; I have not yet seen my lengha in person therefore the review is based upon the service provided to me and images of the outfit, I have attached some images which show a fairly good picture of the outfit
It’s the second time ordering an outfit using internet services, so naturally I was very reluctant but I have no regrets as MashAllah I am really pleased with my outfit and extremely satisfied with the service I received. I would most definitely order from Stoppit again and would recommend Stoppit to my friends and family, that’s something I rarely do unless I am genuinely satisfied.
The ordering process was very simple, I contacted Stoppit via Paklinks and from there we discussed my requirements and how Stoppit’s designer could cater for me. We then arranged a price fitting according to my budget and the work was started.
I received replies to my quires fast and very efficiently, the emails included super detailed explanations at all stages which catered for me as I am literally a dummy in clothes, and I know nothing about fabrics, Kaam, etc; so my outfit solely depended on Stoppit.
I also received images whist the outfits work was in progress which kept me reassured at all stages.
To conclude I just want to say I am very thankful to Stoppit for the exceptional service provided and an amazing outfit. =) Thanks a bunch! =)

Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
Thanks NeaKam, can't wait to see the final thing!
Re: My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit
This is an outfit he made for another UK client. She requested that I put the photos up as she doesn’t use the internet. She manages to have all her stuff made over the phone and by sending magazine pictures in the post.
This is apparently a copy of an Umar Sayeed that was in a magazine modeled by Iman Ali (still waiting for a pic of that as they’ve both said how close a copy it is):
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
The kaam is beautiful, but prices are way over 10,000 ruppees. I know there is kaam being done at a cheaper rate in the market.
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
^There is definitely kaam being done at cheaper rates but if you want this same quality you would pay similar prices - in terms of the quality of materials, size of materials (size zero dabka and cut dana etc), neatness of finishing and cleanliness.
At the end of the day you get what you pay for. That's not to say you can't get a stunning jora for a reasonable price, the kaam doesn't have to be so intricate.
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
I've had outfits done with similar lines of quality, on awesome silk. I've never paid more than 5000 ruppees per outfit.
I mean, sure back then 1 dollar = 60 ruppees, and now its what 80 or 90 ruppees, so I'm sure the rates have gone up. I've sent my aunt in Pakistan looking for some good Kaam, and will tell you the average going rates these days.
But last time I was in Pakistan, they were asking for SUPERB kaam, like 4000 ruppeees per outfit (for something like your white outfit), and that was shaadi season. So 4000 per suit was inflated. I remember asking about outfits that had extensive kaam on the entire kameez, and that was more like 6000-7000 (like more what a dulhan might wear).
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
Anyway, how does it work, stoppit? Do you mail out the clothes on his behalf? Or he mails them from Lahore? Does the price include shipping and how much is shipping usually?

Next time you go to Pakistan, please try to have something like my white outfit stitched and let us know how much it costs. It has size zero dabka, heavy on swarovski crystals (the real deal, not fakes), with the same level of kaam intricacy and not getting a single mark on the white fabric. The crinkle chiffon will be pure and the highest quality available (all lining will be pure) and the anarkali stitching as appropriate. Any good Lahore tailors charge upwards of 1,000Rs for stitching formal outfits.
His kaam is well known to be much higher quality than what designers like HSY offer.
Completely objectively, I have not yet seen kaam (granted I haven't seen Umar Sayeed or Bunto in the flesh yet either) that is on par with my nikkah outfit. When I found him, I had done a complete round of Lahore and had seen everything available in all budgets.
If you have found kaam and prices that you are happy and satisfied with, best to stick with that.

I'm only advertising.
I pass on his contact details to any interested party.
I have helped some people with their orders, as in I take the information regarding the outfit and it onto him. Payment is directly to him and he ships outfits directly.
Shipping depends on which courier you want to pay for and is not included in the outfit prices.
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
PCG, prices have soared for everything. A 60 gram pure raw silk shalwar fabric is 315rs per yard undyed(790rs for a shalwar,865 for a dyed one) and 80 grams is 390 per yard now. That makes over 1000rs for pants. Rest, you can imagine
off subject question but what lens did u use for this pic?
This one. It’s a manual lens.
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
thnx ur pictures come out amazing
stoppit: Can you send me the designer's contact info..I went through all the pics, and I am really impressed by the quality of the clothes as well as the designs!
does he suggest certain designs/trends? I feel I am completely clueless as to what is in style now, especially when it comes to formal wear.
Hi Stoppit
Plz PM the price & kaam details for this to me. Id appreciate it…! ![]()
