Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
Ujala - I will let you know soon.
NeaKam - I'm sure your lengha will be stunning too :)
PF & Saadia - thank you both!
I wore it to my cousin's walima and there were a lot of girls with much fancier outfits (I usually try to keep my outfits more understated as it's more my style) but there was just something about this outfit that made people that I didn't even know come up to tell me how lovely it was. I also loved how easy it was for me to move around in it - the walima photog was not good, so I had to do a full job so that they had back-up pics!
farrah - I will pm you his details. I was gonna mention him before but you said you preferred a woman. He is very good though, especially for the classic stuff. And his tailors know how to stitch sari blouses properly.
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~

surreal - i'm quite short - 5'2"; the white one is 46" length; the brown one is about 47".
it took me a while in front of the mirror with a measuring tape to decide how long they should be!
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~

i thought 44 is the longest i should go but i dont have many long shirts to go by
good to know :)
btw the outfits are gorgeous!
can you give me his info too and how long approx he takes to complete an order etc.
thanks!
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
Both the outfits are gorgeous. How long does it approximately take to get the outfits? Could you let me know the process of placing an order with him? Thanks...
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
Maha - it depends on the outfit. After everything is finalised and the order confirmed, it would take about 3 weeks for these sorts of outfits to be made. The best thing is to ask how long it would take when you request a quote (unless you want an outfit from the thread, as those prices are listed). It really depends on the amount of work to be done for the outfit.
Shipping depends on you - what courier you'd be prepared to pay for. DHL takes 3 days for int. delivery. TCS about 4-5. Pak Post can take anything from a week, two weeks, never, lol.
I will pm you the rest of the details.
Oh... btw guys. I added the brooch to the back of the brown outfit - it's not part of it!
my turn to share my experience with Stoppit. I wanted to buy a product which was not available where I live so Stoppit was so nice to me that she ordered them and packed and sent them to me and then I paid for the shoes. I never requested her in the first place but she saw my thread about the shoes and wanted to help me because I really wanted them. Just yesterday I wanted to order something which was not available again where I live so I just asked her if she can help me out again and she was so nice to me that she said she will surely help me with the order and shipping of the product. Stoppit is very nice and she really know how to handle customer even when I was not her customer so I think those of you girls who are thinking of ordering something from her designer should know that you are absolutely in good hands. Im not a person who usually buy stuff online or from ebay so ordering something from internet is something new for me, but if you are going to order something through Stoppit you will not regret. Very nice guppy!
Re: ~~My experience with the designer advertised by stoppit~~
i ordered a light pink outfit from stoppit. OMG the kaam is amazing and teh fabric too. i never ever ever saw kaam shimmer like this and trust me mine was just a simple outfit but the motifs sparkled as soon as i took them out. the crystals/diamontes she uses are like none ive seen before. not even on some of my designer stuff.
btw her cust. service is awesome.
