My Experience with Razia11235

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

Hello Tarra, I have investigated and found out there had been some flaws from our end. The trouser needed to be interlocked, if it was there any solvent stain on the scarlet red shirt… had to be removed, golden yellow color missing on yellow suit. The rest is fine and as far as the zipper included or not, that had to be mentioned in the order form. Please go through our notes tab (https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=114947051888927) and see the standard measurement chart given..your size falls in XL Size.
We never had any complain before regarding our service.
Dear Tarrra, customer satisfaction is our top most priority we still love to provide you our best service and have you to be our client in future too.
We can make these two dresses again for you or we can refund your money. Kindly let us know what is your choice.

Thanks,
Razia

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

I received a full refund from Razia11235 as my dress order was not done well.

I had to go on a trip, but I am back and now I will post the rest of my experience...

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

But first of all let me address Razia11235’s comment about me saying I’m not a rich lady. The fact of the matter is I am not a rich lady and I am not ashamed of it. About 10 years ago I had to have major surgery to save my life. I have gone through a series of surgeries since then, with my last surgery being summer of last year. Since my original surgery, I have never been able to work full-time as I am now too weak physically. I am a part-time teacher therefore; I have a very limited income. I had a very special event coming up so I saved up some money and decided this year to treat myself to 2 beautiful, well-made dresses. Since I have had a good experience in buying from a Desi dressmaker referenced to in GupShup in the past, I decided to try again.

I did not know of having received any $20 discount from her because I am considered XL. I have kept every single communication made between us and, she never once mentioned to me that I was considered XL until after the dresses were made and she had posted her comment on GupShup. However, I am grateful for a discount anyone would give me and would have thanked her for it had she informed me.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

I did not have a good experience unfortunately. Before I go further in explaining precisely what happened, let me clarify another point. There is a very clear distinction between a criticism and an insult. For example, if someone washes a bowl and I can still see remnants of rice in the bowl, and I say “You did not do a good job washing the bowl, it is not clean because there is still rice in it after you have washed it” and I show them evidence of the rice left in the bowl – that is a criticism. If however I find the dirty bowl and then proceed to say, “You stupid idiot - you have no idea how to wash dishes!” In the first instance I have pointed out a fault and evidence of that fault. The person can correct the fault and grow from the experience because in the future they will be more careful when washing dishes. The second instance the comment of “stupid idiot” had as its motivation – malice and the intent of making the person feel incompetent, has attacked the person and has also implied they do not have the intelligence sufficient enough to wash dishes correctly.

My compliments and criticisms are in the following posts.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

There is an old proverb which states:

~ He that answers a matter before he hears it, it is folly and shame to him. ~

As you noticed from my previous posts, I didn’t give to many opinions, just basically the technicalities of the transaction up to that point and my observations from the photos which had been sent to me. As a few of the ladies have already mentioned, some times the photo is bad but then you are pleasantly surprised. I had decided not to give my final “answer” about my experience with Razia11235 until I had received and thoroughly inspected my order.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

While I do appreciate and acknowledge the fact that Razia11235 returned all of my money, I started the process of dealing with her with the intention of having two good quality, well-made, beautiful dresses, not for her to send my money back to me. So my final answer about my experience with Razia11235 is that I was not completely satisfied with the transaction, nor with the level of customer service provided, and I would not deal with her again. This is my personal opinion.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

In the subsequent things I write I am simply offering reasons and explanations as to why I wrote that I did not have a good experience with Razia11235 it is not my intent to insult.

Sorry

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

For the red dress/kameez:

I think although the embroidery was absolutely beautiful and almost an exact match to the dress in the photo. I have been buying silk fabric since I was 16 years old as I make many dresses and skirts for myself in silk and line them in cotton. I have bought silk when I traveled to China and even when I was in Lake Como Italy which is the center of Italy’s silk industry. However, the silk fabric used in the dress did not have the luster and sheen that good quality customarily silk has.

Additionally, the dress had an overwhelmingly strong industrial/chemical smell and ***stains ***on certain embellishments. It was later told to me that it was fabric glue. It had been used to help the fabric hold the work. I realize that those doing the embroidery work are not responsible for the quality of the fabric upon which they do the work, but what I don’t understand is why solvent/glue was not removed from the dress. Take a look at the photos.

Also the dress was not the color I ordered. I ordered scarlet red, which is red with an orange hue, and I was sent a dress that was red with a pink hue.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

**For the trouser of the red dress:
**
It was golden colored. The trouser/shalwar was horribly made. The fabric was rough, none of the seams were finished but instead they were jagged and there were loose threads were coming out of everywhere.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

For the dupatta for the red dress:

I wanted the exact one in the original photo, but if it was not available, I wanted a gold one made with scarlet red and gold embroidery. They made it for me and it was absolutely gorgeous.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

For the mango dress:

The dress fabric color was correct. However, the dress had a design change in the top neck area, and it did not have the embroidery color combination I had ordered. I did not like the heavy pink work that they put in neckline of the dress. There should have been a sheer silk organza used there with embroidery work done on it, as is seen in the original photo.

**For the mango dress trouser:

**On the color was correct – some of the seams were finished and some were not.

For the dupatta:

The dupatta was fine, no problems. I didn’t take photos of it.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

Needless to say, I still don’t the dresses I wanted, so if anyone reading this post knows of someone who can make good embroidery copies of these dress for me using quality silk fabric and making them as they are in the photos, please let me know.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

earth-childe - I'm sure someone can but then you have to be prepared to pay accordingly.

I'm sorry but personally I don't feel you can have the best of everything and have it on a budget. Sometime has to give, so either the fabric will be just okay, or the work will be decreased a lot or if it's still kept heavy then the kaam materials will be cheaper, it will be less intricate and probably the labour will be less skilled so the vendor can pay them less.

Yes, some sellers are providing excellent finished items within a budget because they have the skill of making the finished product look good even if the fabric or the kaam aren't the best.

Oh, and it's very unlikely that you will get an exact copy, especially when the original dress has fabrics that it is not possible to buy an exact replica of. You have to be prepared for the vendor to make some adjustments but they should let you know beforehand in which aspects.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

  1. Why would you post the lady's full name on here? That's extremely unprofessional.

  2. Why would you even say any of this? She has every right to make sure her money isn't being thrown away on substandard work and client doesn't deserve to have this said about them

  3. and finally, why would you charge extra because of her size (again you have no right to make it public?) ? NOBODY charges more based on size, no store in the US does this, other vendors don't do this, even the mohalla wala darzi/darzan doesn't do this...so why are you doing this?

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

Normally I agree with you stoppit but I kind of have to disagree here…based on the pictures, the red dress doesn’t look anywhere near the cost of $275. The kaam looks too cheap for it to cost that much.

Earth childe I think you got ripped off majorly. The mango outfit is decent, pricewise, but not the red outfit.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

Oh, I didn't look back to see how much she paid. I would not have expected that much! I thought she was making dresses on a budget.

I still stick by my post if people are expecting a lot without paying a lot.

And I agree that Razia should not have disclosed such information. I thought that before too. In fact, I don't feel any of this needed to be bought into public view, since it got sorted out especially. Although, once everything is sorted, earth-childe is still entitled to write a review of the overall experience.

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

^ Yeah, I do agree with you on your original post though I jus tdon't thikn it applies in this case.....$275 can get a much nicer outfit

Re: My Experience with Razia11235

Hello, I must have to say it is my right to disclose everything and make it clear in public while giving the complete detail.... if the client is critisizing and complaining for no eligible reasons.

Earthe Child (Ms. Tarra Cross), you have been a very upset customer............... what expecting versus giving details were quite different.

I think you have no idea why** we returned the full payment while it was clearly mentioned in an order form that there will be 50% refund policy if anyone cancels the order.
**You had been very ungrateful for whatever we did
........we also offered you to remake these dresses .........but when you gave us the detail second time.............shocked! that was different, thats true and I mean it. My team was not agreed to return the full payment .....it was me who made the decision just because** we dont want to leave any bad experience with our client**.

We were very excited to have your order..... wowww our culture is getting so popular that people from different backgrounds are liking our fashion to wear. We had been very precise and specifically followed the details given in the order form by our client.......... Earthe Child, we are not rich either each and everyone in our team is sincerely doing his job....I think I should also remind you the conversation we had on phone when you said that you are not a rich lady then I told you we will waive the XL size charges.
It is our policy if one falls in XL size we charge US $10/dress xtra clearly mentions in our order form , if anyone seems not agreed thats her opinion or her policy (if running a same biz).

Earthe Child, I am telling you very clearly that you have no idea of any fabric what is the best quality or what is the cheap one.

The only thing that we admitted is the interlock missing in chooridar, if any embroidery solvent marks in the shirt........ though I did nt smell anything once recieved the order, the way you hyped the situation .....and some golden color missing missing in the yellow suit.....it was a misunderstanding.
I had been replying for all the emails right away so whats the problem with the customer service. Also, we made the order before the delivery time, ............! You are not satisfied in any way..... **I think you have some other intentions defaming our name for no reasons

We are doing our buisiness sincerely and will keep it up.
We are proud to say that we provide
***finest quality work, the best quality fabric and the customer satisfaction guaranteed.
