It’s quite funny how people interact with each other on forums such as this. My impression of people has changed almost completely from when I first joined. Its not even that Ive been here longer now, so I know more people or that I know them better.
I mean the people that I used to respect or consider sensible - some of them I have realized now- are the complete opposites. And people who I used to think of as nut cases have turned out quite decent. It’s a pleasant surprise.
I mean nice sensible people can end up making one miserable and people such as madhanee ( madhanee Im not picking on you) can turn out so uh nice.
I think Im getting used to this whole we change as we grow old idea. Plus Im on one of my long breaks at uni.:o
one should keep in mind that one's impressions of a person are not who that person really is, it is what one thinks of that person based on their experiences.
a lazy student would have a very diff experience with a tough yet fantastic professor, than a hard working student etc etc.
Fraudia jee -- Im not sure if its just that. I think its more of when you see people in different situations and their reactions etc. I dont know... but yeah its pretty interesting.
Even some of my friends...when you realize one day that they are not who you thought they were...tough to get used to it..but after a while you start to see the real person.

lol. Arey ofcourse madhanee is a bhudda baba par tau kia hua. Maine konsi ghalat baat ki hai. Just that people can surprise you when you least expect it.
yeah I know I sound like a little kid in grade 2, but I think we start to *know *what people are actually like when we’re much older.
One one hand its hard to admit that a certain person is a certain way, on the other hand its so much easier when you finally find out what he/she is like!
again its your interpretations of their actions or their reactions. someone may take it in a diff way than someone else. we are afterall prisoners of our own perceptions.
well how many absolute truths are out there that may determine how much of it is an interpretation based on what is one’s preference, background, views etc..and how much of it is a universal fact.
Right. See thats why Im always trying to leave all my views behind when I meet somebody new. Come to think of it I guess it grows easier as we get older. Unfortunately not all people keep an open mind.
Funny but sometimes my mother and I will argue about what other peoples personalities. I m always so sure that Im right but yeah usually shes right. The amazing part is when I also realize it.:o
CM-- I noticed. But its kind of silly. I mean why do something stupid on a forum that you wouldnt do elswhere.Why not stick to your values/morals/beliefs everywhere.
Simple because society confines you to being nice and aware of other people's feelings. The net doesn't. It is very much a place to vent and act like whoever or whatever you want, because you can. If there was a way for people to learn who you are, well then many of us would stop being such *******s.
However to go off topic. One thing that must be created is a machine which bitch slaps someone when they say or post something stupid on the net. That would make me much happier.
