I had a cold and sinus infection, flew out of town on the weekend, air pressure made things worst and since Friday night my ears, especially the left one is blocked. I feel like there’s a party going on in my ear. And it hurts!
There’s pressure, tingling, resounding when I talk, can’t hear properly…I’m on hold to make an appointment with my doc…meanwhile I thought I’d start this thread.
I’ve tried everything from antihistamines to ear drops, from blowing air out of my mouth with my nose closed to warming th ear with a compress…
Oh i had a similar occassion last year and it was so hard and annoying to tolerate it for two weeks. I was so scared cuz i had to go through the whole scary test about checking my ear drums and if something has been damaged...:( and since i am claustophobic this condition somehow linked with it and i was so scared that when the doc told me that it will get better in a week or can take more than up till 3 weeks that i told him that if it takes more than a week i will get it operated and sort it out. BUt i think it got fine after lil above a week.
It was a terrible experience. So i can feel your pain but just try to remain calm and go to the doc at the earliest. Good luck.
take sasame oil and adrak ko oil may fry ker kay then take adarak out then put that oil in the ear, ive seen many plp doin this cure any ear problems.
Yes and this is very effective. I had it done when I was a kid. But you need to lye down for that and someone has to pour the liquid in your ear and stir it slowly. Try it Nikki it should work!
same here Niksik. get claritin for sinus. or benadryl.
allergies of the season and really bad.
remedies, lots of honey and tea, vitamin C tablets and fluid like plain hot water or luke warm water.
i was gonna advice wat Cyme said but you said you had sinus infection...go to doctor and s/he will give u ear drops...use those.. dont go for any desi totkes..as it may make the infection even worse.
Put some LooNg ( cloves) in cooking oil and heat them for a min or two ... Let the oil cool down n then take the cloves out and pour the oil in yr ear ......
