My ear (left one) is still filled with air or whatever! I am seeing my doc at 4 pm this afternoon. Can't wait...I feel it's going to burst!

***Tepid warm Tablespoon of Olive oil and a pinch of Black Pepper.will clear up any bacterial infection in the inner ear.........................:)

*The pressure is coming from inside the eardrum where the infection is, when you drink warm olive oil it coats the eastuen tube leading to the ear with oil and pepper kills the bacteria!.............:)

you don’t know for sure if its a bacterial infection OR just plain accumulation of wax inside your ear.

OK people. Back from my appointment. Here's the verdict:
My middle ear is jutting out, almost ruptured. Ear infection, severe.
Antibiotic prescription + Sudafed.
I was hoping they'd put in a syringe and draw out whatever is inside. But no, it doesn't work that way I guess. It's supposed to get better in 5-7 days!

Just think, at least it didn't burst! When mine burst it did hurt a lot, but it healed fine.

I had a cold and sinus infection, flew out of town on the weekend, air pressure made things worst and since Friday night my ears, especially the left one is blocked. I feel like there's a party going on in my ear. And it hurts!
There's pressure, tingling, resounding when I talk, can't hear properly...I'm on hold to make an appointment with my doc...meanwhile I thought I'd start this thread.
I've tried everything from antihistamines to ear drops, from blowing air out of my mouth with my nose closed to warming th ear with a compress...

If I had TLK yip yaping around me for hours each day my ears would hurt too. chikh chikh baaan baaan...I think it was the time spent during the trip that did it.
I would say get a doc appointment, your infection may have spread to the ear.

I think the middle ear is behind the nose in between the two ears, an invisible one…
It’s good that it’s ruptured… Now you have an air tunnel in between to keep the ears fresh … PLUS a two-fold advantage of “aik kaan saY sunn kar doosraY saY nikaal denaY” waali baat, in case of TLK’s yip yap
