Lol, the dress that I bought is soooo different from "my dream dress". I was told that it would be hard to find the kinda color combo and kaam i want and hence I would have to get it specially stichched on order. I didnt have enough time so I got something simpler than most brides would wear but unique and ALL in maroon. The kaam has different types of stones though, white , maroon, small shells, etc etc.

I was in Lahore for my weddingshopping. There was this exact same necklace set at a goldshop where I was looking at some pieces. The owner told me that someone had brought him this same picture of Karishma Kapoor posted above and wanted the exact same necklace set for her wedding. He got it made and was now one of the 'best sellers' in his shop. It was realllly heavy (14 tolay sona) but really did look WOW! I hope the girl had a simple weddingdress though, cuz otherwise it would've looked too much.
