I am a guy, 28, moved to US when I was 12. I have a very good degree, even a better Job, decent share in Family business. I consider myself semi-religious. I speak excellent urdu. I stand 5.7, have very active healthy lifestyle, dont smoke-drink, have a good circle of friends (desi/non-desi).

I am the only son of my parents. My family has been trying to find a girl for me, for quite sometime now. But (honestly) they haven’t come across someone compatible yet. We are just your average Pakistani-American family, who if isolated and put in Pakistan, would fit just right in.

There isn’t girl in family that would be considered for me, due to huge age differences.

Now the big event, when a guy goes to Pakistan for Girl-Hunt, planned by his Shikari relatives is going to happen for me in next two months.

Fair and straigth enough, here comes the tricky part.

At the age of 23 I went completely bald, as I was facing some intense hairfall, so I’d shave my head every two-three weeks. It wasnt a big deal. Things were normal, apart from the fact, that those Pakistani aunties, which you’d normally find in Pakistani Community dinners in universities, never approached me for a rishta. But (on and off), I was hit on by couple of girls.

My view: I dont really care what the world thinks, as long as My career and family is backing it up. I still think I am as much as Pakistani as any other guy (if you just ignore my head )

Now: I have quite a push from my pakistan based relatives to get a hair transplant from US (which I wont in 1000 years), otherwise they can not guarantee my mom a good rishta. (This is sick and funny)

I do have six pack of abs, (which i dont boost, they remain undercover in my modest clothing), so I always reply my relatives (jokingly) my 10 years if trainings should balances my baldness, (pakistani guys dont train like we do in US).

I seriously dont know what to do, to go or not go.

How big really is my problem(problem - in their opinion)? from a Pakistani perspective.
What are my chances to be genuinely considered for a reasonable rishta?

OP bhai. I am a Pakistani man who has never been to US or any other developed or semi developed country. I am a lot older than you, have no degree and what I do for a living is closer to what people call blue collar stuff. Neither my English nor Urdu are exemplary. Although I am a bit taller than you but my lifestyle is far from healthy. And like you, I shave my head every third week.

Despite of this all, I have been and am still getting plenty of rishta proposals, usually from very good families and of girls with much better credentials than mine. It tells that the difference between demand and supply is quite vast here. Hair or no hair, you are a hot catch in these circumstances.
