I have just looked through her page and wow! Shes passing off a 'client' wearing a 'economy elan replica' when in actual fact it is the original elan piece shes taken and just shoved her logo over the bride abd grooms faces!

I commented on the pic of OP's dress to say this does not look like the original abd price please lets see aat she says

She has done an awful nomi ansari replica. Catwalk made the edact same dress for my sis to wear at my valima and wow this lady has some nerve passing ber work off as 'replicas'

Mahreen, I dont wish bad on others but ppl have to careful when they take advantage of others... but there was this vendor on GS .. at first she did good work and then there were some complaints of her not delivering after taking money or not delivering the right product ect... anyway then a few months later we heard that she died a sudden death of food posioning a few months before her marriage... do you see a pattern, I do ..

the stress and depression you had will not go without notice to the Almighty... I really hope she realizes her mistake and refunds.

Hello everyone i m finally here.. as for some of you i just signed up for this acct so it took a few hrs to get activated- so no " i m not a coward" to not come and explain my situation-
first i will address you all that i did NOT threaten Mahreen in any way i just told her to have some fear in God and stop accusing me of something i didnt do .. i said i will question at the day of Qayammah
what was my fault in this whole thing? that she didnt want sequence work??? well guess what she didnt mention it anywhere that she didnt want it.. and we made it what was in the original piece by the original tailor..

**1-there are no pannels there is all the same work with border- what you see in picture is the duppata so no i didnt take work off to save money so please get your facts right

2- neckline was complimentary we took it off as Mahreens request it was with diamontee work.. your taste seems to be very high end that machine work is all what i see for your clothes hun

• There is no black border in the original like you made
• There are gaps in kaam on dupatta ends with ugly marks showing incomplete kaam (in the picture you uploaded) Please upload more so we can see your shahkaar better.
  -There is no tapering of jaal on dupatta ends , there is no jaal on long sides (pointed out in pictures above as well)
  -There are no beads/pearls edged on dupatta unlike original

Now if I need to prove myself right, I can get sequins kaam done and then justify the customer by forwarding the original designer’s message and save loads of $$ but that wont satisfy my conscience at all unless I tell my customer prehand that it is all sequins kaam and hence the price will be reduced OR do proper dabka/stones/pearls/naqshi mixed kaam to justify the price.

Thank you for this, Sanaa tariq called me names after i made this thread she even went down to a point of talking about Allah rizq deina walla hai, i kept telling her all that you put in presentation so THANK YOU ( JAZAKALLAH KAIRUN). I do feel more depressed after seeing the more close up details.

Especially your version of replica (WHICH IS AMAZING) but i am at peace with fact that this FRAUDY has been put to her true colours, If I could I would save everyone on her page and not let them pay a penny of their hard earned money to this FRAUDY.

Mahreen we are not perfect..no one is ! We do not do the embroidery and kaam ourselves but rely on what we explain to our workers and what they perceive. Things have turned out wrong and unexpected at times but thats when we need to admit our shortcoming and own our mistakes evwn if it's tailor's or karigar's fault and make amendments. I have had to remake many heavy pieces even bridals at times to cover up the shortcomings and to make the bride happy.

Her inshaan jo aise kaam kerta hai (is in this field of work) woh apna markup rakh ker hi kaam bata ta hai we all know this but woh haq aur halal ka hota hai unki mehnat hoti the rounds they to go to bazar, speaking to right karigars to get work right to present to client while their clients are home for end product.

Lekin isne toh hadd hi ker dii lotne kii, I have asked her for refund, told her I will send the dress back at my cost have her so many options for her to do damage control but she chose to stand adamant .

I am not accusing i highlihted what you did wrong and money you charge for it and so did everyone on that forum just coz 3 people are in busniess of clothes doesnt mean everyone else is too and they said excatly same thing..

Exactly, help is when you tryig to do selflessly for someone who have no benefit from, she would only correct her mistake and making it sound as if its a favour aur yeh in khatoon ko ajj hi yaad aya mujeh batana jab she is reading all this. usse phele when i got back to her on 30 she went mute after proclaiming her authentic work

Thank you for posting and sharing your experience as a warning for others. Also take it as a very expensive lesson for yourself about doing business with trustworthy people. I'd recommend you now try to move on with wedding planning and spending time with your friends and family, as you yourself have suggested.

The designer's own messages and claims speak for themselves. Don't lower yourselves by engaging in name-calling.

Yes my dear i would not, I am raised to always be pious in speech. I just wanted everyone to know I finally blocked her what she wrote last, she is completely ignorant.

I ALSO LIKE TO TAKE THIS MOMENT TO THANK EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO COMMENTED AND LET HER KNOW I WAS CORRECT IN MY STANCE.

I DID LEARN A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON I JUST DIDNT WANT ANY OTHER BRIDE TO SUFFER LIKE I DID.

I WILL NOW TRULY SPEND TIME IN SPENDING TIME WITH MY LOVED ONEs AND WHATEVER TIME I HAVE WITH MY FAMILY

JAZAKALLAH KHAIRUN TO EVERYONE. FROM BOTTOM OF MY HEART, I FINALLY FOUND SOME SABR AND ASK ALLAH'S FORGIVENESS IF IN MY GRIEVANCE I SAID UNPLEASANT THINGS.
