I message of the replica picture she put on her FB of only the dupatta, which was done properly but instead she threatening me that i am lying and creating bad name for her, i told her i have no hand in dress how it looks she made it i posted pics and she then said its probably coz i use really cheap mobile to make it look bad and ruin her name.

And now i get message from Sanaa tariq to post the pic she send me which is this and you can all she how it looks in this picture and what it looks like when i got it, had it shown it was sequence work in this pic i would have asked her to change it like i asked her to change the neck.

there IS a sequins-loaded middle panel in the original dress as well but it is a flairy gown with side panels that have mix zardozi kaam motifs and the dress has nix zardozi kaam borders. More than the issue of sequins used (which actually ARE there in the original one and seeing that I think she copied this part right) the main issues that I see are:

1- she missed the side panels kaam and the flair PLUS the bottom borders havent been copied right

2- neckline is totally different and looks hideous ! the model is wearing a necklace with big stones and it has nothing to do with the neckline kaam on the gown itself

3- sleeves kaam is very dense jaal and intricate while opened up the pattern and kaam is too scarce on the sleeves.

4- the jaal on dupatta is 1/4th dense than the jaal of the original and again she has saved loads of kaam and costs using sequins for the criss cross pattern unfortunately which is not the case in original.

5- Is there any kaam on the back ?

6- Did you know there was olive green in the original one ?

7- There are no hanging tiny pearls on the dupatta like the original one either ?

8- as for price, you should have had your research with other replica designers BEFORE confirming the order rather than doing it now when it’s too late already. For a replica dress with lot of kaam taken off (i.e. scanty jaal on sleeves, no side panels, assuming no heavy kaam on back, no heavy kaam borders, very light kaam on dupatta as compared to original) without informing the customer (unless you asked to work in a budget) , AND NO LEHNGA at all either , it is a huge rip off.

Check if she agrees to add panels, make dupatta+sleeves kaam dense like picture and add kaam on the back if there isnt any..if she cant, she should compensate with partial refund.You do not have anything to lose further since your money is with her now and she is refusing to cooperate to make amendments, it is HER who is at risk of losing her name and repute unfortunately. I hope she realizes that ; the sooner the better ; before her repute gets into mud slinging and it will be too late to get it right.

Ohhh it was a very pretty pick! You should have never trusted a non-designer to make something like that.

To be honest, if I look at what u paid according to that this is a disappointment but otherwise it doesn't look so bad. As in I wouldn't say its ugly or that you can't wear it. If this is what you are left with, wear it with confidence and you'll look good! Just stop comparing it with the original.

I agree with you on all points, the this is its just too late, she is not willingly to budge from her point stating she did ditto copy, she feels I am just trying to ruin her name, she basically send me long long msgs of how Allah should punish me for how i am exposing her coz i am trying to seek Attention and wrongfully accusing her.

Her comeback to everything i says, she saw original and did how it was done, and I kept tell her my aim is not to bad name her but rather have her own to her mistake and compensate me some how, when she send me this far off picture I had no idea it was only sequence and so hideous looking other wise I would have told her to stop work and re do it.

But I trusted her too much coz I will be honest before she did do replica and it was good, so i blindly respected and trusted her MY FAULT.

I just wanted her to help me sort this out when she denied me profoundly thats when I made this tread as I did not want this to happen to any bride 3 months before their wedding.

The work is hand done but not worth money I paid.

there are similar motif at back as there is at front.

The latest picture I posted is the one she send me when embroidery was completed , but how it actually looked what pictures I posted earlier and in my album.

If my only aim was to bad name her I would not have acknowledged what she did good job, I only stated and showed pictures of what I got wrong and not promised to me.

and in response she send me threatening msgs on FB that she will now create account here and tell people I am lying as in why would i lie.

The picture speaks thousands words that i have posted.

Thats what dress looked when it was at embroidery stage, the picture is taken from far of shirt so it doesnt show proper work but this is what it actually looks like when I go it, I will accept the fact i asked her to change the neck and keep it as per original.

I feel for you, I really do. I too have a sick father and know how it feels to work hard for your money.

Allah will punish her if she did it on purpose, or either she has such bad taste that she is not seeing faults in her work…

as to her threathing you, ignore her, she cannot do anything to you.

The dress is cheap looking and not worth the money you paid, 80 k is the right amount ..

I looked into her FB and this is the pic Facebook I think you posted a negative comment which has been taken out. well to be honest, the material doesnt look pure either.. and these round things under the beads look cheap and tacky… the work has a lot of gab in between, which makes it cheaper to create .. sorry I think the dupatta is not even good enough… I am someone who is not picky at all but this is sooo bad…

I have to say you blindly trusted someone, I dont even buy a 100 Euros dress without being sure and reading reviews and you ordered a bridal dress without really knowing the person.. when I looked into her FB, its full of pic of models and taken from else where, this should make anyone suspicious as you should see their own work before ordering and nice yes they all are nice before u confirm ur order and send your money, u see their true dark side after u get the order and critise or find a fault…

sorry that it happened to you, may Allah help you. and may Allah guide those who cheat on honest hard working ppl

I can understand your disappointment and feelings! However all i want to say is that you have spent the money, no matter how hard it be just think that you lost that money and move on! It's your BIG DAY...you don't want any third class designer take away from it. If you can't manage to get another dress or get this one changed, then just wear it. That is what i was trying to say that if you dont compare it with the original and just see it for what it is, its not that bad! So chin up and deal with the situation bravely.

No girl at all should have to go through such a situation but this is life. There are all kind of people out there to ruin it for you. Just don't let them get to you! Do all that is possible to get back at her but don't let that take away from the excitement and fun you should be having on your wedding. Get it?

what bride likes to get attention and tell people how much she hates her dress and put pics before she even wears it to show the world? im not sure what she means by saying u need attention?! is she crazy…she thinks you’re giving her “publicity” …—>> is this the kind of publicity she is aiming for her career?

i think she is scared and doesn’t know what to do and keeps threatening u privately like a coward , if she had truthfulness to her she would come face you here and discuss things openly as u did !! i hope she refunds u something or makes a change to satsify u for your bridal!!

Please never ever order something without reading reviews on the designer, her work is all pics of designer clothes not much of her own work, secondly she should have EXPLAINED the type of work that will be on your bridal and send u pics in process…always ask the type when u place order again!! :bummer:

Thank you Saadia, I feel some sort of sabr now after all the exchange of messages here, you are so right I should have never trusted some one so blindly, we learn from mistakes.

My Allah knows I do not want any one’s rizq to suffer from me, but you cannot rip some one off, if she would have done some sort of damage control, refund me some out even if not full or offered to redo the shirt I would have truly appreciated. I actually asked for her number to talk to her directly but she didnt give me one, she was on my skype and never answered skype calls either.

my heartily dua is no bride suffer like i did before their wedding especially when she has situation at home and I did want a bride to order from her unless she actually saw and pushed for pictures of every stage of work.

Saraa I think now people actually know, Alhumdulillah before some one trust her with so much money they will think 1001 times.

I want to now just use my time to spend it wisely making memories with my family before i make my new beginning, If I keep replying to her then she wins coz she has then taken those moments of my life.

I know you are right, she has consumed enough of my valuable time being stressed, now my mother said she will open the full dress and re do the full shirt on her own. i will now truly wear it with some happiness and my mother making it right when she (Sanaa Tariq) messed it up for me.

I should not allow her to effect me more. you are right I should spend this time with my family making moments, and not invest my energy on her

This was my exact point why would i want to advertise my bridal dress that look so hideous, even before I wear it, for some I know can very well see it and read it here and I wouldnt want anyone coming in wedding to know of this, its embarrassing coz how can i so blindly trust some one.

I even put my point fwd you should have been more detailed about your communication (especially when I kept askign her about colours, embroidery), coz as client I would not think sequence is"intricate" work as she put and then tell me I obviously have no meaning to know what intricate meancoz in her dictionary it is work she gave me.

Indeed I do not care anymore of her threatening FB msgs, she told me she will create account here and present to true picture I said to her by all means I have not lied about anything she did so she is free to reply here and to stop msging me on FB.
