Just wanted to update all of you wonderful people who took the time to post suggestions for me:
I went to my HR director and spoke to her. She then spoke to our COO (Chief Operations Officer) and they started an investigation. I actually followed up and spoke the COO myself as well later to make sure he had a clear picture. After my initial complaint, there were TEN MORE! Its like I started some roller coaster here...all these people are coming out of the woodwork and its amazing! I love it!
Aside from my own complaint, there are serious sexual harassment complaints and favoritism, etc. So, now the company has their eye on him and are building a case so they can fire him at some point.
IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so scared of me - I dont even get a whimper from him now, lol.

He is gay thats his own personal choice, but 5 times Azan saying as crap is utterly offensive, I am not very practising muslim but if someone says that to me, they will get the peace of mind and legal case against him/her.

Well, here is whats going on. The entire board is involved now and everyone is under scrutiny. He is the VP of the department and I guess its not easy to fire someone like that. Also, I hear he is suing the company...predictable. He isnt going to down without a show.
For my birthday, my colleagues threw me a party...he didnt show up and I dont care. At work, he is super wierd...he ignores me now...I ignore him too. I guess I should have expected that right though?

Update:
Since my initial complaint was filed, there were an additional 40 complaints filed against my boss!!! The matter was escalated to the executive level and after a lengthy board meeting, they decided to put my boss through some extensive HR training. This was the verdict as of last week.
By the way MO3, your idea about the Sensitivity Training worked! They're implementing it asap!
This morning I came to work and found him fired! Gone! They canned him because he was turning into a liability.
I feel good that I made a difference. However, I feel bad because someone lost their job as a result of what I started.

^ i dont blame you for feeling bad, it shows u have a little bit of compassion and empathy. however you did doa good thing, i dont think ur homophobic or anything, this guy shouldn't've been behaving the way he did..he deserved to get fired.

He didnt get fired because he was gay. He got fired for his unacceptable and irresponsible behaviour.

PSquared, I don't think you did anything wrong. I'm very sure this guy got hints from many many people when he was going around freely at work place passing inappropriate and hurtful comments on people. He didnt care to stop himself so he really deserved it. I'm happy for you! :)

well congratulations..i think u have made life of many people easier who work in same place with you. There is no need to feel too bad about it thinking that u made him lose his job, he was not some new in the job market and i am pretty sure he started looking for other options as soon as this whole thing started, so dont kill urself and be any sympathetic to him.

Thank you all! I guess with the terrible state we are in right now (job market, economy) I felt so bad when I saw him leaving...no one is getting jobs nowadays! I never meant for him to get fired, just to stop his unethical behavior. Lekin, you're right. He had so many hints from people and I was just one person. There were so many others who went after me!
