Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night ![]()
Believe me, hairpins and back combing will be the ***last ***thing on your mind that night ![]()
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night ![]()
i doubt it, my hair are my obsession
i would go in instant depression at the sight of huge amount of hair loosing.
well jokes apart, it’s a real issue for me…so help please
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
I have the same fear plus how to remove my fake lashes :( i dont wear makeup and never even touched false lashes in my entire life
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
LOL!
you undo the hair gently, start by combing from the ends and gently working your way up...use a wide-tooth comb, not a narrow one!.. use oil if you have to.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night ![]()
Seriously…it will be ok…without getting too, umm, explicit..here’s what you do:
Change clothes
Wash your face/makeup
Start to undo your hair as much as possible…
And depending on how patient your hubby is, let down/ detangle your hairdo…
I had extremely thick/ghanay curly hair that was halfway down my back when I got married…had I tried to undo all that and get all the pins out I would have been ganji & widowed…j/k…so I only undid the joora and left the left the rest the way it was…
The next morning when my husband saw all the bobby pins that had dislodged and appeared, his ccomment was “dukaan may kuch chora bhi ya nahin?” ![]()
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
Hubby will help. You can actually brush it out, once the pins are out, as long as you start at the ends and slowly work your way up.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
has anyone used a kid's detangling spray?
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
A wide tooth comb is a must. I told the salon not to use too much hair spray. That kept it easy.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
wht i did was just removed all the pins n then just applied conditioner n washed them it just took 15 mins :D
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
it takes forever so be very patient! and your hubby will help, i'm sure. don't worry! it will be fine :)
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
I think you're freaking about something that's not a big deal. During my make-up trial 2 weeks ago, they did my updo. I had my fiance help me take off all the pins (there were 32 pins total....I counted!). He took them off very slowly so none of the hair was pulled. Afterwards I jumped in the shower.
There's no reason why your hubby can't help take off all the pins. :)
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
Yanzala - I had the same concern. I just got into the shower, used lots of conditioner and a wide toothed comb and it was easier than I thought!
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
oh lol, i thought this was going to be about something else.
just get all the pins out and try not to brush it yet. as summerbr has said, lots and lots of conditioner in the shower and gently combing will ease out all the back combing. i have fine hair and it was backcombed the hell out of. i probably used half a bottle of conditioner and spent 30 mins doing it, but it all came out. did it the next morning like khatti too.
my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
You ladies slept with back combing? Since few of u mention u took of it in the morning
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
yes, was too tired to deal with it! it's fine, just poofy.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
lol .. my bf/fiance .. future hubz tells me i shud go directly to the shower and come out my normal self loll .. loads of conditioner helps .. my friend got her hair washed within 15 mints
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
Your husband will help take off pins and you will take a shower with lot of conditioner.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night ![]()
I guess the hubby would be willing to help only if he is invited to join in for the complete process
.
LOL!
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
haha it is so cute how the husband helps his wife in every scenario listed above
it is true though. after my function, husband helped me take off jewelry and remove pins. I was upset about something and literally yanking everything off while complaining. He took the brush away and began gently taking out the pins while consoling me about the entire day's tension
