Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
how will i be able to undo my hair? all that back-combing/teasing, hair spray, pins etc it freaks me out. i am very very careful about my hear and they break to easily :( i don't want to end up half ganji next morning. what have you married ladies done? any tips? tricks?
i think its the easiest thing.. than removing makeup.
Just unpin your hair, wet them, and put a lottt of conditioner, leave it for 5 to 10 mins and wash, you don't imagine how easy this tip is~ follow this tip without any hesitation.. I guarantee you :@:
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
husband helped me out.. well he had to since i could barely move my neck around since even the 100kg dupatta was also pinned into my hair .
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
I had to shower and washed my hair like 4 times with LOTS of shampoo and conditioner. We got to our room around 3am and I was done taking off my hair/make-up by like 4:30am and he was already asleep by then. I slept all day the next day. It helps if you have known your husband from before because then he can help (or not as in my case) but at least you won't feel uncomfortable ...

dont get a complicated hairstyle with 50 million pins ![]()
wow you guys are scaring me…is it normal to have so many pins/a fancy hairstyle to hold up the dupatta?? and my dupatta isnt that heavy either!
i never really put so much thought into this aspect…im going to ask him to take my pins out i guess! hahaha ![]()
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night ![]()
indeed.. ![]()
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
I have always wondered about these things.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
Hehe...I'm not sure either and I don't wanna spend much time doing all this. I know we'll get to the hotel late in the night anyway. I don't plan on having a big hairdo.
My dupatta is lightweight, it's net and only has little kaam on the borders, so hopefully I won't need tons of back combing and stuff to hold it. Plus, I don't plan on having an updo. I'll probs have curls. So...hopefully it won't be too crazy.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
don't do anything....messy hair and smudged make up looks good.
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
Take the pins out first, which is just about being patient. And your husband can help you with the hard to reach or weirdly placed pins.
Once the pins are out, like a couple of people suggested...wet your hair slightly, put loads of conditioner in it and wait 5-10 mins before washing it. It'll be perfectly untangled and smooth when you're done. Sleeping in it will just be terrible for you in the morning and you'll have to be extremely careful if you're combing through it.
my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
Thanks for all the ideas ladies. I am also thinking about buying kid's detangling hair spray to spray after conditioning and before combing. Let's how much hubby will enjoy my green apple scented hair :D
I had the same concern but I guess if you know your hubby, it won't be that awkward!
But ladies, what is the first thing you do the moment you enter bedroom. I mean you don't just go straight to your vanity and start whinning about your hair etc! Lol
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
whatever happen to those days when heroine used to take out single pin from her hair bun and oos kee zulfain shaanon pe lehranaay lagtee theen.
you guys made everything complicated man
my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
^ there is rest of the life for one pin hair styles
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night :(
I think you're thinking about it too much. Sometimes it's better to live in the moment. The wedding night is one of those times. :@:
By the way, I've posted before about this, but on my wedding night, hubby was helping me with the pins when the clump of false hair they used to make the bun came tumbling out. He completely freaked out. So yeah. Just a fair warning. :D
Re: my biggest fear of the wedding night ![]()
^ Without warning I plan to rip off my…false eyelashes (thought it was something else, eh?
)…while he’s looking at me.
Scare the bejeezus out of him. Haai kitna maza aaye ga!
