Shay and same, i dont think you guys particularly know karigar rates since we work in this field, your average gulf karigar takes PKR 350 and above per day if you keep them at home. Considering it takes atleast 2-3 karigars two work on an outfit and 2 weeks and above for them to finish it it you do the calculations. And also, i have many karigars numbers who work in these markets so if anyone is interested let me know and i will give them to you so you can check up with their rates. Its not the RS 200 wala lawn suit Pakistan anymore. :) lastly guys please refrain from such debates on my thread its meant as an advertisment for my collection only, will be adding more photos soon! :) xxx
I don't need to ask you what karigars charge these days hun.. people in my family are in the business and I am very well aware of how much one keeps for profit. Ask anyone here from Pakistan and they can tell you how much each place charges for clothes.. unless your karigars are special or imported from somewhere else, paying this much amount sounds unreal and crazy. Prototype is one such example, how funny that quality of her work is astounding yet the prices are nowhere near yours.

brummiebird i wanted this suit without kaam and i was quoted $110.00 +$20.00 shipping for a plain suit with pure chiffon dupaata and silk capris. I do like the dress. I might still order it. Hope this help.

hello brummiebird and wildh., im going to put up all of those in a day or two inshAllah im just fixing the glitches on my site and also am so busy with bridals as its wedding season. :) Thankyou for your interest, and no, price is not affected by such alterations at all.
As far as shay is concerned, im sure you are a superb person girl but please do not compare DESIGNERS to people who copy others outfits for cheaper, not only is the quality always compromised as we all know, no matter how stunning you say an outfit is it can never be compared to the original thing and lastly, guys im a bridal designer so all my formals are very very heavy, it might not look it in the photos but they really are bhari outfits hence they shouldnt even be compared with outfits with just scattered kaam here and there and a bit on the sleeves neck and hem, mine are outfits which you can wear even ten years down the line i make them such that they will never go out of fashion, i make my kameezes long so they can be altered if long kameezes are out, as my dear friend Pakifairy put it, they are a piece of art. So please dont make me justify it again or compare me to someone who is not even a designer, its really unprofessional. Nor do i hold any contempt for anyone who makes effort for clientelle as long as its in the right manner as I know building a clients trust is very crucial.
Note: I will also be adding cotton suits for the summer with embroidery at highly affordable prices :)

Sahar, also, the outfit you like since you do not want kaam on it, i will still do the embroidery but in gold threadwork for you in the same pattern on your shirt so the outfit is accented more and looks even more stunning as an eveningwear outfit, free of charge ofcourse :)

Hey girlies...as much as i think the outfits are quite expensive, I think u guys should give SairaJi a break.....i have recently come from pakistan and rs15-20,00 is what the average formal with similar kaam is selling for, im sure you can get formal for rs5000 but im talking about similar quality of work, people dont mind paying more than this for 'designer' dresses which are usually not as nice.

Hi Arysha, with the work on the neckline and gold embroidery to accent the neck kaam on the sleeves and hemline the outfit will cost you $165, shipping is $35.
The green one as you want it will be $85, shipping is $35, if you order both together shipping will cost you $15 only.

As I said before and will say now, ur cloths look so nice and so tempting!!!
I just came back from Pakistan and have seen the high prices and the hassle of getting a good suit stiched from scratch from my own eyes. Its not like these are tomatos or onions that you have to buy, its a luxuary item, buy if u can afford it or just leave it and get cloths from somewhere else.
For all those who think the prices are high have the option of not buying or igorning the thread, for me I will just admire and dream of these suits.

I had been reading this for a couple days now and was waiting to write because my mom was going to visit Sairaji in karachi. My mom has gone for my wedding shopping. Today she called me and told me that she had met with Sairaji. First and foremost she said she was very nice and very understanding of what she wanted. Second and most important she said the outfits she saw there were not even close to what you will see in the normal boutiques in karachi. She has been there for a couple of days now and has gone through nearly the whole city. She said she has the latest kaam, and her styles outfits are so different and unique. The outfits are gorgeous and kaam is beautiful. She said she already ordered some of hers from her :) She had great things to say. I just wanted to let you guys know since we can't all be there and look for ourselves. And I know being a recent newbie to the online shopping thing myself, that we are all on a budget and dont want to get ripped off. I wanted my mom to go there and look and see for herself.
I hope this helps some of you that are not sure or are a bit hesitant! If anyone has any questions you guys can ask me.

Also Maha I have a suggestion for you for that outfit since you are interested in it, Sadia_86 ordered it in a dull gold with a bright ferozi patiala dhoti shalwar, it looked so stunning in that colour combination aswell ;) Remember, clients are more than welcome to add their preference of color combos.
