In Punjab people generally do not like to eat cow. Its usually the less effluent that will do qurbani of cow or camel. On the other hand i have heard from urdu speakers, “kabab tu bantey hi bachya key gosht sey haiN”.
I can only eat beef kheema, never goat kheema we also use beef for shami kebabs, and when barbecuing, beef tikka botis are the best! I guess it’s the Texan in me…I love steak! But for all other desi salans/biryani, it’s always goat. Never have had camel so can’t comment on that.
I don't know about people in Pakistan but here if you go to the butcher shop and ask for cow, I doubt he'll phone home to tell everyone you did that.
I also think its kinda nice being able to go to someone's home, eat the food they so graciously cooked for you and not wonder about their financial affairs. I find it baffling that people actually think this way.
yea i agree its salty and rookha rookha sa, but good for health, mein nay sirf suna hai, khanay ka ittefaq abhi tak nahi howa
