Armed activists of Islami Jamiat Talba were also shown in the footage threatening policemen at JMPC to leave the hospital. On Sharea Faisal, armed workers of the ANP were seen firing indiscriminately near Aisha Bawani College. At the COD Bridge, ANP workers were shown damaging a vehicle (AC-1660) and throwing a PPP flag on the vehicle, giving an impression as if the vehicle owned by PPP workers was being damaged by MQM activists. The 10-minute footage also contained shots of a peaceful MQM rally which came under heavy fire near Patel Para.'*
Truth will come out no matter how much media and people will try to avoid it. It was not Mushrraf rather CJ and opposition that were exposed during the violence. They do not care about independent shendepent judiciary. They are power hungry corrupt politicans.

Since Mqm was the sitting Govt they had the prime responsibility and authority to maintain law and order. Unfortunately, Mqm chose to become a party in this sordid affair that cud have been avoided, thus share major portion of the blame. Had Mqm shown political maturity, they cud have asked the Rangers to do their dirty work the same way BB and NS did back in the ninties, outsource to some willing lunatic, but then again Mqm has no shortage in that dept.

true, all parties have their 'heavies', but no one has brought as much bloodshed onto the streets of Karachi as the MQM, with their Indian/RAW sponsered agenda of hate and death
With the MQM/Musharraf govt withdrawing all police and rangers, the policy of letting the MQM go on the rampage was obvious to all.
Their strategy of then attempting to blame the CJ for the murder's they committed failed miserably.

You cant say surely MQM started it on May 12 at Malir Kala Board or Malir Halt Area. There is a possibility that ANP people first shot as reported by one of the local paper here but later on the MQM's men slaugthered them brutually.
MQM had already killed two PML N and one ST worker early in the morning. But we cant be sure about the noon fighting that erupted at Malir Kala Board. ANP people had already complaints of MQM regarding ban on smoky vehicle, demolition of kachi abadies and exit of their contractors from Karachi projects long before these event (probably from Sept-Oct and have been threatening to take action and go on strike.
Even if CJ would have not come into picture, this ANP-MQM fight was looming in Karachi for the last 5-6 months and would have happened any time. CJ's arrival triggered it.
It is most likely, Allah forbids, we will see a massive retaliation by ANP that will again retalliated by MQM and we will see killing of innocent people and buring of their homes again on both sides as we saw it in 1985-1986.
