Syed Mustafa Kamal is the top Pakistani leader in terms of services, honesty and patriotism. The progressive works in his tenure exceeded the 62 years history of Pakistan.
Load-shedding is not limited to Karachi, besides I don’t think he has any control over KESC (a private company).
Only if Mustafa Kamal learns to be honest (and not “lie”), standup to his own words, learn some ethics (behavior towards common people/journalist) this guy can go places.

its no secret that he indeed has done a lot for Karachi. But SONA, you cannot say BLACK history of Pakistan.............. you really need to know where Pakistan was at 1947 and where exactly where it stands now...
Being a lone Muslim Nuclear power, making own jets and tanks and other arnaments. producing one of the best engineers, doctors, pilots and other proffesionals. having one of the biggest land fill dams of the world, airports, ports, industry and a lot lot more things. These were done with time, Mustapha Kamal did not do it. Its just that the past few years or so nothing much was done in Karachi, so since Kamal suddenly started making it, ppl think that he has done everything.... Karachi was designed long before than when he was actually born.. Check the history and plans of KDA and KMC and you will know..Ask someone like ZA Nizami from Sir Syed Uni and you will know..
Pakistan has still achieved a lot more than many of the countries in the past 50 years, yes still it is below our real potential, but ALHAMDOLILLAH we have done well

The areas where MQM has stronghold are given preference when it comes to spending.
On top of that look at what Karachi is getting 53 billion Rs per annum compare this to the whole province of Balochistan that gets only 80 billion Rs, just shows who is sapping up money.

It is our duty as a Muslim and as a sincere Pakistani to condemn what is bad for Pakistan, and appreciate whoever does good for the country.
Mustafa Kamal is the one who worked day and night for the betterment of Pakistan. His speed has been such that people all across Pakistan now give his example and try to follow in his steps. He is the one who has changed the whole look of the city in a very short period of time.
I understand people's abhorrence to MQM due to its past. But I can not understand how come they judge everyone belonging to MQM with narrow-minded racism and ethnicity. People who mock and criticize him while knowing fully well his services for Pakistan are the people who can not think beyond party affiliations. To them, party politics is more important than the future of Pakistani children.
I think that for the amount of work this guy has done for Pakistan, he deserves respect from every Pakistani, even when some people do not disagree with him fully.
I also think that Mustafa Kamal has what Pakistan needs today. A desire to modernize Pakistan, and solve people's everyday problems swiftly. While it is impossible to happen, Mustafa Kamal is the kind of person Pakistan needs as the head of government. I can bet that he will make Pakistan go miles ahead of what all the Benazirs and Nawaz's have been capable of.

While it is debatable, but I would say that areas where MQM has stronghold ARE the places which make Karachi the most developed city of Pakistan. This is why they need more attention.
For example, when it comes to spending money then big cities like Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore should be given preference over Tula Gung.
Off course, it does not mean Tula Gung does not deserve anything.
It is highly unethical and anti-Pakistan when people to think in terms of politics and racism.
I have to see a single thread where he is appreciated by people who are not from Sindh. Just look at DD's comments above. He wants to selectively use funds, and deprive MQM supporters of any development which they deserve.

If you are a sincere Pakistani, which i know you are not, then you should know why MQM is hated with such ferocity in every nook and corner of Pakistan, by people of every social and economic class. MQM has carried on ethnic terrorism not only in past but continues to do it today. May 12 and April 19, did not happen in PAST, these are recent events. Even during April this year MQM was involved in ethnic violence in karachi that left nearly 50 dead. People have not forgotten what Mr Altaf spewed against Pakistan in his visits to India. MQM is becoming like a Nazi party with its members and sympathisers openly saying that they are more intelligent people of Pakistan and should rule this country.

Captain1:- comparing Lahore's last year 30 billion budget with Karachi's 58 billion is unfair. Karachi has twice as much as population as Lahore and STILL is the largest industrial city in Pakistan. Comparing Rawalpindi and Multan with HYDERABAD would be a fair comparision. Considering the past, when city was deprived of funds, I think it needs more than that since city's civil services infrastructure is in shambles. It doesn't matter who started it, Jamiat Nazim or Mustafa Kamal, it should be continued; and if a phannay khan or a naanBai becomes a Nazim and continues to spends money on civil services and improves basic utilities in city then he has my support.
