I don't understand your hatred from Army. If anything, it has always been the army that recognised and legitimatised Muhajir nationalism. First Zia, then Musharraf and now Raheel Sharif. You should always be thankful to Army for always going out of their way to revitalise and accommodate Muhajir identity in politics.
But you are a funny. From being so insecure and upset and saying establishment should stay away from breaking political parties, injecting forced competition when it was non Muhajir PTI challenging all Muhajir MQM, to oh I absolutely love & support establishment's plan of breaking political parties and challenging MQM as long as the people challenging them are also Muhajir. Really?
What happened to your sobby sermons of keeping the establishment away from politics and away from Karachi?
Why is it all lovely and wonderful for ex wanted criminals of MQM to become the next political power in Karachi, but all controversial and unacceptable for PTI to gain any ground there?
Do you ever think beyond ethnicity?

The irony of this forum is that those who use to the word '12 jamat pass' actually write as if they are indeed only 12 jamat pass.
Non-ethnic PTI supposedly backed by establishment = invaders/outsiders/zulm on Muhajirs by evil establishment.
Ex MQM 'Muhajir' mass murderers definitely backed by establishment = well done establishment, excellent for Karachi.
So whatever. Your ethno centric double standards and hypocrisy has been exposed.

He has gone to Mirpur Khas (an area beyond Media coverage). Apparently, the day he announced name of his party, he is not in lime light.

KARACHI: Former Karachi mayor Mustafa Kamal on Friday pulled Syed Hafeezuddin, lawmaker of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Sindh Assembly, into his newly-launched Pak Sarzameen Party.
Kamal announced this while addressing a press conference at Bagh-i-Jinnah — the place where his party is planning to hold a public gathering on April 24.
At the start of the press conference Kamal welcomed Hafeezuddin to his political party.
Speaking at the occasion, Hafeezuddin said “Turkey’s current president was once the mayor of Istanbul and he turned it into an economic centre — not just for the Muslim world but also for Europe.”

“That is how I want Mustafa Kamal to lead this nation,” he maintained.
Talking about why he resigned from PTI, Hafeezuddin said PTI was established in Karachi after a lot of struggle, but the party didn’t do anything despite registering internal complaints.
He also pointed out that during local body polls PTI candidates left those constituencies from where it had won over 50 thousand votes in general elections.
Hafeezuddin also termed the opposition in Sindh Assembly as toothless.
Earlier this week, member of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) coordination committee Iftikhar Akbar Randhawa had joined the ranks of Pak Sarzameen Party.
Hafeezuddin is the first PTI’s leader to join Kamal’s newly launched party.
He announced his resignation from PTI’s membership and subsequently from the membership of Sindh Assembly.
Kamal’s revelationsEarlier in March, when Kamal returned to Pakistan, the MQM dissident unleashed a salvo of bombastic ‘revelations’ against party supremo Altaf Hussain, accusing him of deception, addressing workers while intoxicated and poor running of the MQM.
Since then, the former mayor of Karachi has pulled former MQM heavyweights Advocate Anis, Raza Haroon, Anis Kaimkhani, MPA Dr Sagheer, MPA Iftikhar Alam, Waseem Aftab, ex-senator Mohammad Ali Brohi, and most recently MPA Bilquis Mukhtar, into his party.
The Pak Sarzameen Party’s name was announced on March 23 and since then the party has opened offices in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas.
Advocate Anis and Raza Haroon both have slammed Altaf Hussain, saying the MQM chief is the reason behind party members jumping ship. However, the MQM has denied all allegations regarding the ‘minus-Altaf formula’ and claims its workers are being ‘forced to change loyalties’.
Kamal and his colleagues have not specifically denied these allegations or others that suggest the new party is being backed by ‘certain quarters’.
A number of senior MQM members left the country suddenly around the time Kamal returned to Karachi, causing speculation as to the reasons behind their seemingly abrupt departure.

No. I simply don't care enough about Karachi's politics anymore.
PTI doesn't stand a chance of breaking ethnic, language and class barriers in Karachi. So good luck to MK if he really wants to be the nonviolent alternative to ethno-fascist MQM. An ethnicity can only be reformed from within, not by 'outsiders'.

Re: Mustafa kamal announce new party

Doesn't stand a chance? Do you know that PTI won thousands of votes from solidly MQM areas? Wasn't it a chance?
But PTI blew it as it didn't care.
This is what this former PTI MPA has said in his statement.
Re: Mustafa kamal announce new party
PTI’s “chance” in Karachi:
A report from May 2015:
https://www.dawn.com/news/1172464/analysis-has-ptis-time-come-in-karachi
It is a fact that the PTI polled a large number of votes in Karachi. The fact is substantiated by simply adding the results provided by the Election Commission of Pakistan on its website. Hence, the total number of votes polled by the PTI in Karachi is 527,677 and that by the MQM is 1,807,491.
What this PTI MPA is saying now eat also referred to in this report from May 2015:
About its infrastructural weaknesses, Mr Aslam says there is a lot of infighting within the party, their leadership in the city comes across as clueless and they seem to be cut off from ground realities. Mr Bakhtiar also points out the PTI’s lack of presence in Karachi. “Who are the PTI leaders in Karachi? Where are they? Their presence is unknown.”
Re: Mustafa kamal announce new party
Huh, PTI got 'thousands' of dispersed votes, yeah with losing margin of 80% against MQM in their strong hold. If its just a matter of thousands of votes, then PTI will probably get few thousands in 2018 as well. No big deal.
Army backed PSP is there to change the narrative of Muhajir nationalism, Kamal has the freedom to address and tackle the racial xenophobia the way PTI couldn't. So good luck to Mustafa Kamal, the change of the Muhajir nationalism narrative is the need of the hour.
Re: Mustafa kamal announce new party
Well those thousands of dispersed votes were a clear chance for PTI because those votes were obtained WITHOUT PTI doing any campaigning. PTI STILL does not have a proper organizational setup, as was admitted by Mr Zaidi and this MPA guy here.
Now instead of admitting their failures, the PTI abuse-brigade finds it more convenient to abuse people of Karachi for failing to take Imran as their Savior.
From the same source:
Mr Zaidi agrees that their organisational structure is weak. “To a certain extent I do agree with this observation. There were shortcomings in our intra-party elections. We need to reorganise ourselves and get our act together.”
Re: Mustafa kamal announce new party
PTI doesn't really have a strong organisational structure in Punjab or KPK either but Karachi certainly has a long history of zero political competition and racial xenophobia. How come the other two much more rural provinces produce close competition but Karachi walas always like to hide behind PTI's weak organisational structure to make excuses for why they are simply unable to vote out a ethno-fascist terrorist entity?
Sorry stick with your all apna Mustafa Kamal the new found saviour after Altaf bahi, even if Imran Khan takes a bath in gold water, he'll still not be an option for Karachittes. He simply does not have the right ethnicity or the right postal address.
Even a person like Asad Umar who grew up in Karachi doesn't want to enter the Karachi political scene. It gets violent and disgustingly racist. It's impossible. Let the establishment clear out the gunk through Mustafa Kamal.
Re: Mustafa kamal announce new party
For PTI-brigade info, those thousands of votes were not all dispersed. I see report from 2013 which says that at least one constituency of North Nazimabad had the PTI guy receive more than 50% of MQM guy’s votes. What else does “chance” mean? Why still continue to abuse Karachiites?
Results show PTI has vote bank in MQM strongholds - Newspaper - DAWN.COM
In NA-245, North Nazimabad, a stronghold of the Muttahida Quami Movement, Riaz Haider obtained about 54,000 votes against Muttahida Qaumi Movement candidate Rehan Hashmi, who polled a little over 100,000.
PTI chief Imran Khan did not address any rally in his electioneering campaign in Karachi. The one major rally he had addressed here was in December 2011.
Re: Mustafa kamal announce new party
Why do you even care? All Karachi posters here where spew nothing but utter spite and xenophobic crap for PTI suddenly digging up old articles to prove how Karachiites "voted" for PTI, hence not racist. Woohoo. Excellent. Not all hope is lost!
If you have a problem with the word chance that I had used, then fine I take it back and let me re-phrase, PTI still has a chance in Karachi, inshAllah they will get few hundred, sorry I mean few thousands votes in 2018, and it'll be considered a HUGE victory if they manage to lose to MQM by 50% margin.
