Haqaqqi flopped because they turned out to be just as ruthless and violent as MQM, but if Mustafa Kamal stays nonviolent, he will become a real success and a hero. I hope he stays committed to politics of nonviolence. He’s the man of the moment for Karachi, a lot is expected from him, and it’ll be nice to see him succeed.

Not that I have any sympathies with Haqiqi aur MK but if MQM attacks members of new party, what are they supposed to do? They will be killed, amputated, beaten to almost-death and what not… unless the govt machinery this time actually captures MQM attackers/killers and serves justice only then the new party can take over the city.
