Your post is too personal. You are accusing me of being hypocritical. Listen, I can be personal too but I don’t want to do that. Please refrain from personal attacks.

I believe that nothing is black and white. There always are gray areas. No matter how much you hate the ‘outsider’ MQM, the fact remains that historically it has been a thorn in the eyes of Imran’s extremist friends. This fact has nothing to do with Altaf’s propensity to violence. Same goes for Extremists’ abhorrence towards PPP, which is a fact regardless of how corrupt they are.

I always said this, but people like you could not accept this. You see things in black and white only. The world is much simpler this way.
But sometimes in the middle of 2000s the sectarian element in MQM started taking hold. I was the first person on this forum who highlighted this change in policy, and condemned their leadership for it, just like I had condemned them for bringing violence in Karachi earlier.
So much for your judgments against me.

But while a group in MQM was killing based on sectarianism, they still did not collaborate with Jamaat or Taliban. That is unlike PTI.

And about MK being MY hero (again you are being personal), No, he is not my hero.
I appreciate his stance against violence of MQM, but I am not naive like PTIians who consider someone as their messiah. I will point where I agree with him and also mention what I dislike about him. For example, I am highly skeptical of people like Waseem Aftab in his team.

I consider myself an independent. Actuqlly, after the kind of laws this PMLN government had passed, I might even vote for PMLN. There was a time I could not decide who is worse: Imran or Nawaz. Now I know the answer.

So I never called Altaf my hero nor agreed to his policy of violence. However, when I saw some people abusing MQM for the wrong reasons (nothing is black and white), I tried to put the record straight. For example, saying that MQM wins through force or rigging. But when I did that, people who had their judgments clouded by hatred of them ‘outsiders’ thought that I support Altaf or MQM, or their violent politics.

In your post above, you advised ME at length but had nothing to say about Imran’s policies of trying to get along with Taliban. When people like me urged to take on the menace of Taliban head on, it was people like him who would try and scare people saying that Taliban will destroy us with suicides if we take action against them, and that the only way we can stop threat bombings is to talk to them.
Such is the power of ‘apnay log’ in his eyes. To him, Pakistan jaaye bhaar mein. ‘apnay log’ is more important.

I am calling you a hypocrite based on your post. You are so quick to go on defensive and start preaching about not seeing the world black and white when it comes to a terrorist organisation like MQM or defending ex MQM mass murderers sitting right next to Mustafa Kamal, but when it comes to Imran, you are fixated that he was the main reason why Kiyani did not launch operation against Taliban? What about the fact that ex ISPR comes out and says the mood in Army was generally pro operation but Gen Kiyani did not go ahead? Then why did PPP gave Gen Kiyani extension when no operation was on the cards? Black and white much? You are not even remotely credible with your new found political wisdom of giving a so called benefit of doubt which by the looks of it only applies to MQM.

For your information, MQM gets along fine with JUI-F (sister party of JI) because they don’t compete with MQM in Karachi whereas JI was an old stakeholder in Karachi, they are still the old foes. So quit propagating that MQM doesn’t like extremists. MQM itself is a vile extremist group, and they just don’t competition whether it comes from religious parties like JI or secular groups like ANP. Their answer has always been violence and hateful propaganda. Don’t believe me, listen to Mustafa Kamal and his new buddies confirming how MQM treated its political opponents.

I am literally laughing at your point that yes MQM had roughly killed the same number of people as Taliban but still they did not collaborate with JI and Taliban so that makes them better? What? Do you know what are saying? Listen, a terrorist party that burns twice the number of people that the Taliban had killed in APS in one go doesn’t need to collaborate with any other militant group. They are in a league of their own. They used their anti Taliban as a rhetoric and smokescreen to do whatever they liked in Karachi.

As with PTI, they were foolish enough to think that they might be able to penetrate into Karachi’s working class areas with JI’s help or they might be able to make the most of JI organisational structure to fight much larger scale elections, but please tell me that on what basis MQM would have required JI’s collaboration in Karachi in any way or form when MQM itself was an undisputed, unchallenged political mafia of Karachi? Black and white much?

Again laughing at your hypocrisy and double standards: PMLN is resisting Rangers operation in Punjab against terrorists and their facilitators like anything whereas IK actually invites them to KP, But still Imran is worse than PMLN. There is no cure for petty personal hatred which is almost inherent.
