webster tarpely is a lunatic? so his theories should be easy to bring down, but the problem is what he says (about whats unfolding in pakistan) is plausible. so much so that its worth bearing in mind for my pak brothers

Tarpleys and other constipated conspiracy theorists will continue saying "Crow is white".
His theories are part of people's belief system right up there with belief system like heaven/hell, angels and demons.
So if you believe in Tarpley, he is a peghamber for you, and there is no way one can argue against the paghambers (true or false, it doesn't matter).
A small section of Americans do support their luny fringe both from liberal left, and religious zealotry. These Americans buy books, and attend seminars of these lunies. However the emphasis is on "Luny fringe". Majority of Americans however accept the mainstream facts and move on with their lives.
It is the mainstream Americans who have worked their tails off to make their country as the super power.
Similarly if we ever want Pakistan to be a superpower, we have to start believing in the mainstream instead of parroting the lunatic fringe aka Mullahs, liberal lefties and other conspiracy theorists.
