Star News (Hindi) is notorious for this kind of presentation. Every sentence is repeated at least 3 times, in varying degrees of emotion. News is just another big soap opera. Been watching this all day today hoping for some new details, but no luck so far, just the same stuff replaying again and again.

Waste of time. Real payback would be to hit them where it hurts, in the pocketbook. Cancel all those lucrative IPL contracts with the Aussie players, and take back all the special deals with the Aus cricket board. Dalmiya would have done this, no doubt in my mind - Pawar is too weasely, but with the public outrage this time, the politician in him may see an opportunity.

I wonder why they match referee hasn't called up Ponting and banned him for knowingly claiming a false catch? The catch off the pad was grounded and he appealed as if he'd caught it. Rashid Latif was in a similar situation a few years back and he was banned. Why not Ponting? (bay imaano ke jamaat ka sarghana lol)
