I found this funny and I think it somewhat represents how we are divided over such minor issues, overlooking some major issues.
A man was walking across a bridge one day and he saw another man standing on the edge, about to jump off and commit suicide. He immediately ran over and said “Stop! Don’t do it!”
“Why shouldn’t I?” the other said.
The man said, “Well, there’s so much to live for!”
“Like what?”
“Well … are you religious or atheist?”
“Religious.”
“Me too!
Are you Muslim, Christian or Jewish?”
“Muslim.”
“Me too!
Sunni or Shiite?”
“Sunni.”
“Me too!
Hanafi, Hanbali, Shafi or Maliki?”
“Hanafi.”
“Wow! Me too! Do you follow Sheikh Fulaan al Fullani or Sheikh Kaza Kazah?”
“Sheikh Fulaan al Fullani.”
To which the first man said, “What?!! Die, heretic scum!” and pushed him off.

However being a Muslim yourself..........we should have a different section where all the sad commentary on Muslim's unenlightened behaviour would belong.......

I agree. I posted it in jokes because I don't see billions of people's mentality changing, EVER. So we can discuss this topic in religion and beat it to death but I don't think much would be accomplished. We would start calling each other names, launch personal attacks, and fight all over the place. In the end, the thread would be locked and warnings would be issued. Don't you agree? :) We see this in religion forum everyday where people fight over STUPID stuff, without having to have some patience and give the other a chance to explain his/her POV. Instead of admitting/listening to other person, we close our ears and shut our eyes and say I am right, you are wrong, end of discussion.

Right again........Now if all of us can appreciate our minor differences as Minor... and learn to laugh about them instead of getting bent out of shape........ putting it in Jokes is fine.........one small step for "Shikra"
Probably someone who is blindly following the religion like the person in the joke :p Instead of realizing the problem and the taunt in the joke, all they see is "OMG it's a joke on MUSLIMS, how dare he?!" :p
