al-Ghurabaa is a group that was formerly al-Muhajiroun, a group that Pakistanis in England are obsessed with.
I am a Pakistani in England and none of my friends, family or I am 'obsessed' with the above group.
I don't like all this generalising, and I've noticed Mercenary2k do it in the past as well calling all UK Pakistanis criminals or thugs.
Be very careful-if you keep generalising you may get away with it some of the time but sooner or later someone will call you out on your opinions.
I don't have a problem with Mercenary2k but I noticed he never replied when I addressed his opinion of UK Pakistanis on the Religion board in the Salman Rushdie topic. I thought he might stop generalising but he did it again afterwards.
I hope this thread just dies but if it doesn't I predict many posts without any agreement, especially from the original poster, who will ignore others' points and continuosly resort to the same tactics.

You don't know me or my family and friends so why try and guess how they feel or think?
Look, my 'brother', just grow up. Stop targetting others and trying to put whole communities of people in one box. People are individuals, they all hold different thoughts, feelings, opinions. No matter how intelligent you may feel you are, you can never look inside another person's mind or heart.
If some idiots do express views opposite to yours, ie supporting terrorism, don't assume all UK Pakistanis are the same.

British Pakistanis unfortunately are a very low performing group in England
British Pakistani Pupils:
Pakistani Pupils are the largest ethnic minority group in primary and secondary schools.
60% of British Pakistani Pupils live in the 20% most deprived areas of the UK.
15% of the families of Pakistani pupils are ‘Hard Pressed’, 50.5% fall into the ‘Moderate Means’ category, 17% are ‘Comfortably Off’, 12.1% ‘Urban Prosperity’ and 4.9% are ‘Wealthy Achievers’.
98.8% of Pakistani Pupils are Muslim, 0.6% are Sikh, 0.3% are Christian and 0.3% have no religion.
Apart from Bangladeshi parents , Pakistani parents are most likely to not have a qualification of any sort.
15.3% of Pakistan youngsters live in a lone parent household, which is the highest for any Asian group.
As of 2005 48% of Pakistani pupils passed 5 or more GCSE’s (similar to O Levels) compared to the national average of 55%. 33% of Pakistani pupils achieved 5 or more GCSE’s including English and Maths compared to the national average of 43%. This is only higher than the pass rate of Black Carribean pupils.
40.4% of Mipuri Pakistani passed 5 or more GCSE’s at grade A* to C.
44.1% of Kashmiri Pakistani passed 5 or more GCSE’s at grade A* to C.
49.4% of Other Pakistani passed 5 or more GCSE’s at grade A* to C.
Compared to the Pakistani average of 48.4% and the national average of 54.9% as of 2005.
54.1% of Pakistani girls achieved 5 or more GCSE’s at Grade A* to C, compared to only 43.2% of Pakistani Boys! Shame on ya boys!

Hmm so you run to statistics?
I agree, those facts would contribute to Pakistani youngsters falling into traps set by extremist groups recruiting younger members more easily than other groups, perhaps.
However, no matter what statistics you conjure up that doesn't mean that the majority of Pakistanis in the UK are of extremist thinking. It is a very, very small minority- believe me, I live here.
No matter how poor or uneducated some Pakistanis may be, they have the same wants and needs as others- to raise a family and live a peaceful life.
Mercenary2k, you have in the past slandered all UK Pakistanis by stating we are all thugs and criminals and bring shame on other Pakistanis abroad. What you stated in the Salman Rushdie thread I mentioned had NOTHING to do with extremism, yet because bullsh1tshah has referred to extremism you have hopped on that bandwagon. Must try harder next time.

Why does this surprise anyone? We also have “super muslims” who on this very site have supported and cheered the beheading and suicide bombings of pakistani soldiers and citizens. What makes anyone think they won’t do the same for westerners?

Who is committing the murder of other Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Darfur, Pakistan etc. but the mullah jihadis? No mod muslims has yet to blow himself up to kill other people or behead innocent people, but mullah jihadis do it nearly every day. Shame on jihadi terrorists.
