I dont think anyone here is saying that killing is a forgivable sin. However, in Islam we do say that every action depends on its intention. However, as far as this incident is concerned, whether it is true or not, it doesnt even matter. I mean I have seen non Muslim people grab Qurans from Muslims kids and throw them to the ground. So I would hardly be surprised if they did other stuff with it to anger some Muslims. I would not harm anyone over it either. I would however be angry. Na its ok, misunderstandings always happen.
