Muslims of India speak openly about.......

Frankly i am not interested in your braincell count nor am i interested in what you think about democracy ...... I will stick to the topic and say this ..... muslims in India are free to express themselves and they are having their voices heard. Perhaps you need to approach the discrimination in your country (i am talking about Holland ;) ) and spend more time on sites that are relevant to Holland ... rather wasting your time on Pakistan sites which i am sure the majority of Dutch people don't read !!!!!

when did you become Indian? i see you trying to speak for us Indians? what finally you had enough grief of being a Pakistani?

Muslims in India are free and happy?
well then i think you did not watch their message
but even if you did watch it you would believe in your own twisted weired kinda truth
which is a big lie.

I watched the video ... no one was in chains ...and no one was crying. They were expressing themselves freely ... time for you to look at the videos again !!!!!!

Muslims in India can freely express their views, they have their political representation. Already few sections of the community are provided reservation. Muslims met prime minister and PM is involved too.
Reservation is an issue and those sections that require it will be duly awarded with it. It is very harsh to say that Muslims are oppressed in India.
They are most likely victim of a riot, like any other minority, but no one persecute them. They are free to practice their religion and even can promote it and it is fundamental right of the citizen of India.

jeetIAF

yeah
dream on

Yaar Rajey,

Come be realistic. Muslims do have a right to practice there faith, and have other liberties. While no one can deny they suffer severe discromination, but they are not persecuted.

I think they can learn from the Sardars, who seem to organized and doing well for themselves.

Actualy I have a question for the three Sardars on this forum, Jetiaf, Punjabee and Queer, are Sikhs covered by the quota system.

I've never seen a Sikh beggar nor a Sikh in any quota as of now.

Sikhs do not believe in "khairaat", so they have never asked for reservations. And they are doing pretty well for themselves on their own merit :)

P.S. I am not a Sikh ;)

I generally find to Sikhs to be hard working, and there example should be followed by Indian Muslims.

But on the reservation issue, certain Sikh castes do have reservation. The Mazhabi Sikh community certainly has reservations. Another group the Rai sikhs also have it. Sikhism is an Indic religion, so I assuming that it has some form of caste system. Here in the UK, the Jat Sikhs go on and on about high they are.

Reservation for dalits

So I come to my orignal point, either you scrap the system, or reform it. If not you will have this situation of people demanding reservations.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, I support scrapping all reservation except for those who are economically needy. Reservation has been misused on the basis of caste by people who dont need it and that system needs to change.

And where did you get the impression that it is/has not been reformed.

All policies of government are dynamic and are changed/ modified as per the requirements of a nation. It is not that it is set in stone or written in a devine book that we cannot change it.

So in the same context the issue of muslim reservation is being discussed in India. There have been studies conducted by the "government" about the status of muslims in relation to other religious groups in India. And a number of issues hae been raised in this regard and the government will take measure to attend to this.

So if you are familiar with democratic system, this is how things work and should work . There is no need to blow up just to get your voices heard. If that is happening, then it means the syatem is not working.

I wonder if moderator can also start a census like in Pak affair regarding reservations/quota system for Muslims in India. I will be the first one to vote in favour of such system.:)

good

come to India,

Yeah right. How can he leave his perks enjoying now, build an empire on the land where honey and milk flow and come to place where there is even no reservation for Muslims? Are you crazy?:)

Re: Muslims of India speak openly about.......

To answer your question if Krisent is crazy. Yes he is. So are you.

Don't be surprised if
punjabi and queer are same persons.
many indians have multiple ID
so u speak to one you have spread your messages to all of them :D

You and your fetish with mulitple ID's ... so any progress on highlighting discrimination against muslims in your country ;)

khan sahib....no doubt muslim community is trailing in education and jobs....but whose fault is it...

no school or working organization has asked them not to come forward in last 60 years.

yes...some of muslim community people have really emerged as a strong class and power in india but that is a political game...so better we talk for poor and downtrodden muslims...

but when people like you write that muslims suffer severe discrimination ......i really wonder if it is true how can muslims offer friday namaz at open and running roads and disturb the traffic in new delhi....no one is potential, even the civil authorities to stop them from doing such a thing....

what do you think about it....are Muslims really discriminated in India...

Re: Muslims of India speak openly about.......

^^

With all due respect I think you are comparing apples and oranges. Stopping traffic and discrimination in jobs are two different things :)

While I don't agree that Muslims suffer severe discrimination, I tend to agree that there is some discrimination. It is not institutionalized. It depends on the person who is taking the interview or the person to whom you are sending the application to.

I belong to a minority community and I have never felt that I have been discriminated against. There are times when I felt I was being favoured :) ..
