I also think the quotas should be based on economics and not race, religion or caste. I am sure there must at least a few poor Brahmins in India. Why shouldn’t they get assistance as well. That was my orignal point, why give to certain groups and not others. Why just give to 15 Muslim biradaris in Andhra, and not to the rest. I’m sure there are plenty of poor Sayyids in Andhra.

So I sccept your point, it should be on economics.
