As far as I remember though not sure, it was struck down because, Muslims demanded separate quota, then reservation benefit given to all community adding the proposed quota demanded by muslims was exceeding 50 percent threshold, and in any given condition (except if it is special drive of selection in government services for particular community), should not exceed prescribed threshold.
In general competitive exams 50% seats should remain unreserved.
And probably, this is why the proposal wasn’t able to stand judicial scrutiny of court.
And sahabji, court in India is totally unbiased, up to now it has never given any decision on its whims or fancies. Media reports are not considered by the court, and court always asks respective authority to verify, and it is job of that authority to give the information requested by court.

Well dont you think sahib jee that what you are doing is generalizing and that is totally unfair of you. Did you not watch the video and listen to the voice of common Muslims in India?
What they are asking is to deal with them as FAIR citizens of India. They do not want anything MORE then other indians are getting they want FAIR treatment by indian, nothing more and nothing less.
