Muslim Women's condition

Re: Muslim Women's condition

Coming to the topic.

Why women even worry about the verse in Quran and its word or meaning?

It talks about bad women.

And it talks about some other very gentle measures before even it talks about so called beating and that is if the woman does not repent.

Can we imagine any other society which would allow such a humble, kind approach in general to a bad act such as adultery?

Men are allowed to divorce them on first event in these days.

Forget what some men do. Bad acts happen in all societies and places and by both men and women in one or other situations... so why single out Islam or Muslims???????????

The title of thread is so biased and speaks of victim mentality IMHO.

Sorry, bhabi hareem!.

Re: Muslim Women's condition

^i dont think so diwana. i dont think muslims are the only ones with the issue of violence against women. however as muslims its only normal for us to be concerned about the voilence against muslim women by muslim men. i dont see why that should make any muslim feel singled out? now lets revert to why single out islam and muslim? three reason one is that the "bad apples" seek refuge in religion (and unless the rest of us shun them for hte misuse of religion it like handing over silent consent) second because once agian we are muslims so its only natural we will be more concerned about whats taking place under our noses and third because there is a lack of uniformed representation and protection that muslim community is providing to their women.
as for your theory about bad women, dear sir the concern is that what are the options available to the supposed bad woman to defend herself. since you must agree the utmost importance lies in proving the accusation.

Re: Muslim Women's condition

I condemn any sort of physical violence against anyone unless its self defense. I don't care if certain political, social, religious doctrine contradict my verdict. Anyone that that believes there are reasons for physical violence other than the reason that I have given should only be compared to the barbarians that roam in the African wild.

Don't bother to post in "Religion and Scripture" forums then. We don't care what you've gotta say.

Re: Muslim Women's condition

umm no. and are your telling me that there is a religious doctrine that advocate's violence?

Re: Muslim Women’s condition

hareem kya hoo giya :chai:

You're not interested in discussing issues in the light of religion and scriptures, right?

Re: Muslim Women's condition

Thats not answering my question. Only reply to the question that I have put forward or dont reply. As for your question if it was valid then I would not be in this thread.

edit: Please do not speak for everyone, only yourself. see post 64; "we".

Answer to your question is ....I'm not sure about all the religions but Islam does not advocate violence against weak.

Re: Muslim Women's condition

LOL. So it does advocate violence against the strong? enlighten me.

No, not necessarily strenght but oppression. A weak person wouldn't be in a position to oppress someone.

Re: Muslim Women's condition

I did not understand that sentence.

I agree with all above and your comments too. But have you ever felt that what benefits Muslims Women getting ????? You never thought ......
In Many areas of Pakistan or Muslims country ..

  • Women just sit at home and get every thing at home
  • In Buses , Banks, stations almost every where they have separate counters
  1. Women took the benefits of all above and never say don't create separate counters for us, don't give us preference but if there is something happened all of western media get started to talk about Muslims community. And even Eastern Women.

This thing is happens every where but peoples always start talking about all Muslims even the person who commit crime don't have any knowledge about Islam but All Muslims face questioning. Is it rare in USA & UK ????? I personally know many girls who were beaten harshly by their husband but nothing happened against their husbands.

I just want to say that beating a women can not be linked with Islam this is the attitude of that person and nothing else .......

I strongly disagree with act of violence against women IS in Muslim Communities ONLY. but in other communities also.
