Re: Muslim Women Face Choices As France's Veil Ban Looms
samraz Veil is farz in Islam what do u think that muslim who have been living since 1400 years are stupid that they didnt knew that veil has nothing to do with Islam
I think most schools of thought agree that wearing hijab [covering the head and sattar] is fardh, not covering the lower facial area.
Re: Muslim Women Face Choices As France's Veil Ban Looms
Muslim women in time of HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW and sahaba use to take veil either you are saying that they didnt knew what ISLAM was or you are a genious
they also did not use a computer and internet to make such an exhibition of hatred and ignorance that you are doing. So why don't you take your own advise of being like the 6th century and stop using computers?
Right or worng, that is the law in France - adhere to it or not at your own risk. just like the if you try to open a can of beer in Makkah!
Re: Muslim Women Face Choices As France’s Veil Ban Looms
it’s fard in hanabli and shafi math-hab; stance of hanafi math-hab. I’ve no idea about maliki math-hab. As far zahri math-hab then I’ve read a statement of Ibn Hazm in which he said that women should wear niqab.
No doubt that there’s a legitimate difference of opinion among scholars but it’s all about whether it’s wajib or musthabb. Not saying you, but all these secular/liberal Muslims chanting that niqab isn’t part of Islam really have no leg to stand. Not to mention they’re accusing the best people of this ummah of ignorance and not knowing their deen.
Even if we agree for sake of argument that niqab isn’t part of Islam then how does that given someone a right to ban it? It’s so absurd that people rely on this point to justify their discrimination.
ummm…but tell me what does using computer and internet has anything to doing with religious practices?

Yes, that is the law they have come up with, whats YOUR take on it? Should a secular/freedom-of-choice-offering democratic country should have such laws? Or should each country close down 'pluralism' from its offers?

^ are you a Muslim?
what does it look to you? And my question was sincere because I wanted to make sure so that I respond appropriately without jumping to conclusions.
