i havn’t seen the film yet, but i am planning to do so, because this fatwa is qoing above my head, i am not getting on what reference they have given such fatwa
if you have plz bring forward to this thread
thanx
The film is made by Mirasis (minstrels), their other profession is prostitution.
Religion is just fun and play to them, they don't really have any religion so they're not the best source for religious guidance.
In Islam a Muslim woman can only marry a Muslim man but a Muslim man can marry a Muslim or a woman from the People of Scripture (Jews, Christians etc.). I'm guessing the reason for the distinction is men have more dominant personalitis and are physically stronger so they're better able to guard their identity, that's just my opnion, pc-incorrect I know but logical if you look at it with an open mind.

and women bear children....and the child born from a muslim woman and non muslim may be a little confused!
Yup. Women are worthless and are simply meant to be organic test tubes for reproduction. Because life is so much more convenient clean and simple if men do all substantial things and women just shut up, stay in the harem and reproduce. Four in the coup leads to much higher productivity. Yup - between Fox new fatwa #88 (good one Hareem) and the HQ modern mullah edition, it's all so clear
A ruling in Islam is a ruling in Islam. One who does not like the ruling can stay away form Islam, all together. Ther is no need to argue about the rulings
If we have problem with that, we can ask Allah SWT on the day of judgement. On this earth, no one has authority to change that so why argue?

Dude we are talking about Islam here so quit quoting your vedas and geetas.
PS. I like the way you guys mix and match cricketers names and then pose as Pakis.

It's complete nonsense...and I have definitely heard Fatwas that suggest that Muslim MEN can not marry non-Muslim women in non-Muslim countries. So quite the contrary, actually....

Salaam brother!
how are you? Is it true that muslim men can only marry Ahle Kitaab and non mushrik?
islamic law on inter religious and intern racial marriage is not discussed enough openly.
personally, being true to your self and to the person you are seeing, you can use pragmatic approach and be content with your heart.
there is no treatment plan for a unsaid things when they could have been said.
if you think you like the person, and you are willing to stand for them, then you will be able to convince others of what you want without being arrogant or rude.
in UK a lot of people frown on this. the concern is not having pure lineage anylonger.
other option is a guilty feeling for the rest of one's life. and that is not adviseable.
Its a little confusing for me too. The reasons that are given regarding why a muslim woman cannot marry a non-muslim man usually revolve around the faith of the children and how the man being stronger can enforce his religion where the woman won't be able to do much to resist since she is weak, so on and so forth. If they speak of men having stronger or more dominant personalities I would disgree with that altogether but if they talk of physical strength then does a woman, say living in the west, really need to worry about her husband being stronger and beating her or the kids into submission? 911 is just a phonecall away worse comes to worse.
What about a muslim woman who does not wish to or cannot bear children? If children are not even in the scene then why would the woman not be islamically allowed to marry a non-muslim man?

Femme, that is not the reason why it is not allowed. The reason is that Allah SWT told us not to do that. That should a a reason good enough for all the muslims. That is called obedience

Ditto, people should heed this.
As for children not being born. Would you really marry a non muslim? A person who may have the potential for shirk?
Do we live for the world and our worldly desires, or we live for Allah?
Would it be more pleasing to marry someone who understands Allah swt, and that Allah swt approves of, or someone who is the total opposite?
Sis those are the thoughts that came into my mind. As a brother, i dont think I can comprehend marrying a non-muslims, in the long term it seems like a weakness towards my imaan.
Plus this movie is bogus, and I cant believe, it hurts actually, that pakistanis are questioning Allah's authority and laws.
The producer could have put more thought into it, and actually studied the religion before making something out of his subjectiveness.
Why does my passport still say ISLAMIC republic of Pakistan, we're nothing but. We've so lost our purpose, as a nation.

if you believe that the Prophet believed that (and he has to have if that is Islam) you may direct your comment verbatim thataway too. Or you can re-read what I wrote and understand satire.
