muslim to eat with non muslims who drink wine

In the end, Allah has given you your most prized gift - your brain. Be accountable for yourself - why follow blindly and let others think for you ?

On that note Thandy: tell me, is it as blissful as they say?

if you mean to point to the saying that ignorance is a bliss, then yes it is, for the ignorant and indeed those whose hearts are sealed are living in bliss of this world. they take their material possessions to be their treasures and accept their desires as their lord. they commit suicide when they lose this world and do not want anything but to get more physical wealth. they pride themselves in the fact that they might have more wealth or children or beautiful wives, but all those things will be taken to account on the day when their blindfolds will come of and they will see the flames of hell. then it will be of no use how much intellect they had in this world or how much money they possessed, but all will be fed to fire. so people can enjoy bliss in this world and have nothing but fire and flames in the next while others can live in this world as travelers and have hope of salvation in the next.

if that way of thinking is ignorance, then by allah i am ignorant.

using your brain can be good, but once this verse has been read, we do not have choice but to look for the guidance from allah and his rasul :saw:

it is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error. (Al-Ahzab 33:36)

Well I'm glad to hear it Thandy, my congratulations to you on achieving your goal. I had total faith in you bhaijaan.

I for one, however, am 100% certain that God does not promote intolerance and division as you say He does. I have a feeling that many of your likeminded fellows, including martyrd heroes, are surprised to see where they "landed" after taking off the blindfolds they wore during their lifetimes. Their ignorance was blissfull too, until then of course.

anything that makes you happy buddy in this world, because it is allah and his rasuls :saw: and the believers who will have the last lauch on the day of judgement…

So let them laugh a little and (they will) cry much as a recompense of what they used to earn (by committing sins). (At-Tawbah 9:82)

I eat with people who drink alcohal sometimes, but I would never do it during Ramadan.

Is it okay for a muslim to break his Ramzan fast with a non-muslim or an atheist in an iftaar get-together?

So you think Allah "laughs" when he sends people to Hell? Pretty twisted view of God you have there Thandy. I say stock up on the Aloe Vera now while you still can. People promoting intolerance will need it.

^For a guy who openly admits being a Al Quaida double agent you got a lot to say Stu

in case you didnt realize, it was a metaphore. your attempts to take a metaphore and take it literally is just a sad attempt to gain some debate points.

So you believe that Allah laughs "metaphorically", as opposed to literally, when he sends unbelievers to Hell? Sorry, but that speaks volumes about your religious views, not to mention your general state of mind.

you are the one who, when finding no argument to talk about resorts to taking people’s words and twisting them for the sake of useless debate. did i not say that it was a metaphore, so allah does not laugh when throwing ppl in fire, but the saying "having the last laugh means, according to this website

http://clichesite.com/content.asp?which=tip+2020
Cliché: Have the last laugh
Explanation: 1. When others realize that you have won or succeeded after thinking that you had failed.

so you see, the metaphor is that the kafirs think that allah and his rasul :saw: and the believers have lost the battle because the kafirs have the material goods in front of them and they dont see allah or the hell, but in reality, they will realize that they were the real losers and allah and his rasul and the beleivers were the real winners. inshallah.

^^ that's the same lousy defeatist explanation to failures..

Allah doesn't turn away from those on the right path.. He rewards them in this life AND the life hereafter..

[16:97] Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a happy life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did

[3:148] So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the hereafter and Allah loves those who do good (to others).

PakistaniAbroad: So as a nation or as a person if you find yourself unsuccessful or forever surrounded in problems... think of another excuse.

^
i wonder why then Prophet Muhammad (saw) led a life of extreme poverty and went several days without cooked food… :konfused:

.

may be he doesnt believe those “stories” and infact the rasul lived in a marble mansion with gold doors and those stories about him :saw: living in a mud bricked home and going hungry were fabricated by “defeatist” mullahs. yeah thats it…NOT
actually yes we do not forget about working in the world, but thats not our intention or goal, we are patient even if allah does not grant us riches of this world and we are thankful if he does, but just because muslims are not rich in this world it does not mean that muslims are not favored by allah, its just a test and trial or may be punishment from allah and we should be patient and ask forgiveness from allah

r u 2 suggesting Prophet Muhammad wasn't given Allah's bounties in this world?

wasn't he the most respected man in entire Arabia?

wasn't he the General of a victorious army whose conquests knew no bounds?

wasn't he given the highest office with Allah.. the one of a Prophet?

didn't he get all the familial comforts of life with many wives and children?

at the end of his life would you rate him as a successful man or one whose life was filled with woe and unhappiness and failures?

Muhammad (Sallallahu wa alahi wa salam)

In the marketing field in which I work we call this "drinking the Kool Aid'.

wine drinking in paradise alowed?

YUSUFALI: (Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?

Ok. i have a book that is about questions on islam for Women...that talks about different things that are soo retarted like its not allowed to take pictures!! and other questions like that so i understand why it is said that its not allowed soo i wanted to know about the wine thingy...i can say it with confident that i am a good follower of islam as in offering namaz, reading the Qur'an everyday , keeping fast, etc. etc.

i always think that if i read namaz and do other small things that i shudnt, not like imma go sit on the same table as somebody else who is drinkin or sumtin....i admit it was stupid for me to start this topic..so im sorry...you guys might be thinking this is very important for me to know or somthing but there are thousands of things like this and questions ..for example
your not allowed to shake hands with a non muslim
dont brush your teeth when fasting
dont take pictures of yourself
dont think of the past

these are things different scholars say is not allowed but do we follow these things?? i dont know about you, but i dont!! its not important,,
they say you cant take pictures because you shoudnt have memory of the past,, they say you cant brush your teeth while fasting so u dont have a taste of anything,, so i didnt understand why you can sit on the same table as someone drinkin whine,,i thought this might be something new to you guys,, but if u mind for the stupid question than i apologize....
