One can argue ad nauseam that the terrorists are not Muslims, but after a point that argument becomes meaningless when the only common link between these terrorists is Islam. Take a look around you - whats common between Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, ISIS, Al Shabab, Paris killers, 9/11, London train bombings, Indonesia blasts, LeT…?

There has to be a better way for “moderate” Muslims to take this filth out.

How many examples you have where sikh/hindu has killed anyone and justifying it on the basis of religion?
well ISIS,taliban,boko haram etc do it on islam’s name and then they will justify it on the basis of their religion.

Violence and intolerance in the name of religion is often correlated to poverty and illeteracy.

The examples you are citing, are largely occurring in war zones.

There are plenty of examples where non-muslims have committed atrocitites in the name of religion.

If Islam is what truly ties them together and they’re violent then why aren’t the rest of us Majority Muslims violent? I like other am educated on Islam and I have read Quran and done self study to the level of most other Muslims who can read/write. So why aren’t we joining these groups? We have read the same verses on violence in the Quran.

Furthermore it’s hard to fight these groups when their financial support is coming from secret service agencies from other countries that want regions destabilized to take control of resources. And we know this. CIA created the mujahideen, they financed al Qaeda branches in Syria against Assad. Rumors of trainings being done by Israeli agents, Russian made weapons, and Indian weapons. Saudi funding madrasahs. ISI funding Taliban groups. This is not as easy as just talking to the kids in your mosque and warning them against joining these groups. The funding and proxy war strategy has to stop. We are blaming a religion for evils created actually by a variety of governments who decided to pervert verses on violence that are meant for self defense type violence.

Jihad means struggle not slit the throats of innocent civilians.

They could have done this to the bible or Old Testament. There is plenty of violence in those books some of it worse.

With justifying I mean is by reading some paragraph from GITA or GURU GRANTH SAHIB to justify their actions to kill. You won’t find that but the terrorist organization like ISIS, Taliban etc will read some passage from Quran and will justify that. Even blasphemy laws in Pakistan are justified based on Quran.

The Gita has flaws. Re caste system it preaches a shudra sins if he does work of Brahman and vice versa. So if we are comparing religions, Islam is superior. It asks us to treat everyone equally.

Since they are doing it in the name of Islam, are you saying that they are mis-interpreting Islam ? If so, why haven’t clerics/religious experts come out and denounced them. Why aren’t they branded “kafirs” since they are not following Islam. Why arent they subject to blasphemy laws for misquoting/misrepresenting the religion ?

This explanation doesn’t quite add up since whats unifying them is the religion. Why hasn’t such proxy funding created terrorists from another religions ?

Quran mentions: that humans are made look different so they could recognize each other.

Which essentially when people were being made, they were made with same martial down to cells. only after construction being done, they were painted and decorated differently.

Funny thing is thats what DNA says when compared between different races.

How ever, people are accountable of choices they make. Believe and non-believing is matter of choice.

And how does it make Quran imperfect if someone kills others by using a passage from it. If all the passages were useable for this purpose I would agree with you.. Every book in the world can be proven flawed by your logic.
