But it can’t be as easy to control (where, how much and when to spray) as the hose system. Specially when you to use it just to the front.

Agree, here in Canada cold water is 1 degree in winter and 10 degrees in summer. So this device would freeze your butt in winter. I just prefer to jump in the bath tub an clean myself (as all hinuds do in India woith lota). Elesewhere in a public toilet, I wet the paper towels which are ther for drying hands, take it with me to the toilet and use it for a complete clean-up.
