Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

Devil inspires humans to do these acts like the name you mentioned.
Allah(swt) has given him a freehand till the day of judgement.

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

^ Are you usurping the right of God to determine this girl was or was not inspired by Him? Why would you think her faith is any less than yours?

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

Some tribes in Borneo, Sumatra and parts of Africa, even in the USA and Europe practice cannibalism as part of their spirituality…Would you consider them inspired too?

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

do they? who?

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

^ read post #22 that should answer your question

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

If you don’t know that much, then what’s the use of arguing with you?

Get some knowledge first and then come back…

^ Because she wear minis? ;)

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

I agree with Kaleem on this, what is the father doing. He should be the head of the house hold in this situation. I don't think she is doing it for the art, nobody does it for the art. Its always about the money. Trust me if she can get paid higher doing other job, she'll leave this dancing right away. Feminism is nothing but a mood-swing.

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

^ even if we assume that she is doing it for the art she is misguided and her elders should explain this to her.

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

^^ but isnt that their own business? dancing may be haram in islam...but i'd like to hear of an incident where the prophet has ordered a punishment (denying a muslim burial to family) because the daughter engaged in a haraam act. declare it haraam all you want but no one has the right to deny them a burial, stone them etc etc...
my question is....do you think a proper muslim burial must be denied to the families of all those guys/girls that ate haraam food/watched porn/listened to music/danced in weddings? (since their mama papa knew it was haraam but didnt do anything to stop them)
das reich from your fatwa it is clear the guy says dancing is forbidden...however, what punishment is set for people that engage in these acts? (by those who act God on earth i mean)

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

Thank fully u guys are not in kerala.. other wise there would have been a civil war.

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

it is her own bussiness if she does it inside her home and in an all female gathering(with no non-muslim females) thenno ulema will have a problem, but the reason she and her family is being seperated that this action will encourage other girls to follow her example........I will look into what punishment is for it but my guess is that it lies under the sphere of laws against sexual laxity
as far as I know Umar(ra) introduced the first laws against them
denying burial does not seem to be on the list I will check

you have raised a good point ....dancing in weddings is also a public display
and those who do this have no write to criticize someone who is doing this "for art's sake"

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

So Islam prohibit art.. I will let her know..
:)

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

But Das i believe this practice of not allowing her father to be buried is extremist in nature!

It is not the father who was in question!!!

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

are you really this naive? just look at the name of your websites! I have no intention of arguing …with you or anyone else. juts pointing out how foolish it sounds when Rubya is practicing a divine art form that most of you can only look at from a distance and envy and what do you people do? pull some half baked religious stuff on her.

At this rate and if there are too many of such people as the critics here, Muslim women are doomed

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

Yes the future of Muslim women is looking really bleak. They will not be allowed to prace around in front of strange men under the guise of art. Their lives are not worth living. :frowning:

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

Making women dance thereby reducing their high status to a trained monkey is freedom…

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

I think everyone has had a fair chance to make his/her stance known, and it doesn't seem like anything else will be conveyed in this thread. Does anyone still see a use for this thread?

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

So was just wondering, why do we have a smiley such as this-- :nuch: on an Islamic board?

As for the girl dancing, In India, dancing is considered to be an art form, and is as much appreciated as singing, painting etc. Moreover dances like Bharat Natyam are considered to be classical and are given their due respect. So what should be wrong with an INDIAN girl learning these dances. As for her performances being charged, the famous actress Hema Malini too is a trained classical dancer and she too performs regularly where you pay to watch. So what’s the big deal? It’s just like any other concert. Wouldn’t you pay to watch a Ghulam Ali/Jagjit Singh perform?

Re: Muslim girl treated as outcast by moque community

Its haraam in Islam.

Abide by Islam.

Girl is doing haraam.

If she does not change her way.

Then there is a problem, and the muslim community can outcast one that does acts against shariah.

How simple can it get?
