anyways its a bit of both, while i dont agree with the ability of highschool dropout, or GED dhaka pass fligth attendants from dubuque iowa to kick off someone just cuz theyare uncomfy, I also think that it makes sense for people to be aware of their surroundings.
My brainwahed cousin who finally got to hsi senses after wasting a few years of his life with the khilafah crowd used to walk around in kurta shalwaar, combat boots, the palestinian head scarve and a utility vest.
that was just kinda stupid.
yes there are issues in US and the ultra right wingers (read racist bigot closet KKK nazis) have their own agenda and their own approach to try and get power (similar to our mullahs really), teh good things is that there are people opposing such views as well.
We need to be more active and more vocal, whinging about it to each other on some forum can only do so much, why not take teh same concerns and present them to our communities and groups in a rational and sensible manner?

I mean they could have religious caps, and can grow long beards but what is the point wearing shalwaar qameez? I am sure if they would be wearing normal local dress no one would bother much.
I am not saying that muslims are not being hated but I am saying muslims should also try to behave a bit rationally too.
Agreed man, there is nothing unIslamic about wearing pant shirt and nothing Islamic about wearing salwar kameez, beard is required but caps or turbans are not required in Islam (I heard not even during prayer, these are just practiced in the cultures of some Muslim countries).
