Is this how we’ll be treated. Every other day there’s a news like this .

Iam proud to be a pakistan and a MUSlim.. atleast this never happens in Pakistan !

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

ok i love my father . he never ever even scolded me ( of course not for this reason )

once i read that aristotle said that he respected his teacher more than his father because the teacher taught him how to live in this world.

for this reason i respect my father he taught me sooooooooooooooo many things in life
i simply respect him :salute:

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

hmmm ... v should b prepared 4 such kind of stuff ... after 9/11

if v got handz on a denmark national in pakistan .. how gonna our mullaz will treat him !!!

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

It is gonna get worse...Much much worse...

What will happen is we will keep taking it all in stride and thinking, things will get better...They won't...

This is exactly how the Jews were started to be treated slowly in Germany...They too could never guess what would happen...It also started very slowly and gradually...From being asked to leave from gatherings, businesses being denied to do business, underhanded racism, unjust treatment and an overall sense of things being out of kilter...

It wasn't like the Germans overnight just started killing Jews...It was a gradual buildup of hate...They had their own 'experts' on Jews at that time which made documentaries on Jews which made them seem like the enemy of state and subhuman...Today's 'experts' like Daniel Pipes, Ann Coulter, Fox news, CNN, CBS e.t.c. are essentially doing what the propagandists of Nazi Germany did...Poison the minds of the populace against Jews so much that when a Jew is killed, we take it in stride...Or at least say that the Jew deserved it for being a Jew...

It was a slow process and was almost a work of decades which resulted in the killings of Jews...

America has just started out...No doubt, there are many amongst these same Americans who realize and know what path is being taken is a one way ticket to destruction...These are the peope who can think beyond what's brain fed to them...Their faculty of thinking is beyond what they hear in news...Their knowledge comes from education, wisdom and the ability to analyse things not based on propaganda but on logic and conscience...But their voices are drowned in the blare and din of frenzied and hysteria inducing, mob mentality nationalism...

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

Maybe our mullah hazart and the jihadis shouldn't be killing goras as well.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

Lajawab is right, a holocaust is in the making here, if not during our lives it will be during the lives of our children and grandchildren when everyone including the Muslims themselves will be brainwashed enough into hating all Muslims just for the sake of being Muslim, by then the west will have a strong hold over all the Muslim countries with their armies occupying each one and controlling it’s resources after having invaded on some false pretence.

Mod Muslims or ex-Muslims won’t be spared, just look back to relatively recently during the persecution of the Muslims of Southern Europe, even the pork eating, alcohol drinking, Christian-husband/wife taking were massacred just as ruthlessly as the Mullah at the mosque, these were white skinned, blonde haired and blue eyed Muslims who except for religious identity had the same culture, traditions and language as their Christian neighbours who killed them, a good number of them were far far removed from Islam and wore crucifixes and went to church but they weren’t spared because their ancestors were Muslim at a certain point in history and they had Arabic names, these people left Allaah but the Kuffaar forsook them so that in the end they were neither hither nor there and had nobody to turn to, they didn't even know their Lord anymore.

You can live in a fools paradise if you choose and take comfort in somebody at work being polite to you, but after all that hatred which is being fed to these people it wont be long before they want our blood, already people ask me what religion I am and the color and expression on their faces turns to one of hate and fear when I say "Muslim" and then I have to clarify with a giggle that “I’m not the terrorist variety”, sometimes it eases the tension other times it doesn’t and we just change the subject, they’re not bad people but all the brainwashing will turn them, they’re only human.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

Too bad the plane didn't blow up after they were pulled off the flight.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

Its wrong, but why would you dress up like that?!

This is my one apprehension with regards to visiting the USA, I am far from religious, but fear of unjust inprisonment shatters me.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

The men have the right to dress up they way they did. Its a free country and they are not violating any laws by wearing a skullcap or having a long beard.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

umm for a country that goes on about liberation and demoracy and freedom and stuff like that they shouldnt even be bothered by wat other ppl are wearing like it is in the article the flight feeling uncomfartabke and for that reson alone they removed these two ppl. on the judgement of a flight attendant
well america in my eyes will one day get wat it deserves because they r forgetting so many young children are growing up watching wat is going on in the world and they will have much more hatred for america then we do today

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

It's really bad .. after all this we muslims still are not unite !.

America is continously threatning Iran .. All we do is condemn.
Iraq is beeing stormed every day ..what we do is Just pray for them
sames with palestine .

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

Travelling in America and to America seems to be special in many ways. Last week, when I was coming back to Vienna airport from Geneva, I heared the following ad:

"The City Airport Train will take you from the Airport to Vienna City Centre in just 16 minutes. It operates in intervalls of 30 minutes from 6.05 AM until 11.35 PM. On your return flight out of Vienna you can check-in your luggage at the City Terminal already, except for flights to the United States of America."

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

history repeats itself..

*sigh

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

Haven't we heard, "Jaisa des, waisa bhes".

I mean they could have religious caps, and can grow long beards but what is the point wearing shalwaar qameez? I am sure if they would be wearing normal local dress no one would bother much.

I am not saying that muslims are not being hated but I am saying muslims should also try to behave a bit rationally too.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

So I would'ne be bothered with jeans, and a t-shirt proclaiming "all I want is a beer and a b(word) "?

No airport hassle?

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

najim america is also going on about freedom about choice so if u cant wear saalwaar qameez in a country which sells it self on this whole demoracy thing then were can u plenty of ppl wear salwwar qameez here in england no one says anything . america just wants to be the world police but as all police forces the country; gov is also courrpt

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

I agree they should be allowed to wear s/k, but it is asking for extra attention is it not.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

" “They were essentially told, ‘You can’t take this flight because the flight attendant is uncomfortable’,” the lawyer said."

Islamophobia is an acceptable form of racism now. Get used to it people.

Where the idiots who chant 'it does'nt happen in america'?!!!

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

They've been detained.

Re: Muslim Father and son removed from flight

There's gotta be more to the story than is reported in Dawn newspaper. I see people travelling in all sorts of garbs, including Shalwar Kameez, Arab taub etc. Many sikhs I have seen travel with long beards, a big turban and shalwar kameez (I presume they leave their dragger at home). Dress, by itself, is not a red flag.

However, considering these guys were travelling by a small regional career, it is possible that some lesser trained flight attendant got cranky. The fact that cabin crew can de-board anyone they want, just because they are "uncomfortable" is the single most stupid thing I dislike about American aviation rules. There is got to be "just cause" and "innocent until proven guilty" applicable for aviation security as well.
