Me too , I am a fan of Mushtaq sahib. I missed a chance to meet him in person a few years ago. I am trying to get a signed copy, now I would try for two, no promises though.

is it? DId he pick fro, where he left in Zargushast, or its more like memoirs kind of stuff> Have you read it yet? I was reading on the publishers facebook page that many people think that 1200 is a too steep of a price for a book. But isnt the cost of large Pizza hut Pizza is about 1000 rupees in Pakistan. That book is as cheap as a large Pizza. What else do they want ?

I haven't read the book. Just guessed from the name of the book.

I agree about the cost, but still Rs 1200 pizaa can't be afforded by a sizable population.

Well it has some extracts from his old books - but most of them are the speeches and talks he had done ( khutBat or mazameen ) at professional gatherings , like ' Case history '' is his talk / speech with a gathering of pakistani suergons in London .... one was delivered at Indus valley school of Art and Architecture , another was from a gathering at LUMS .....

Reading is thesedays and enjoying every bit of it ...

TLK - I dont have your new address , inbox me , will get the book delivered ! And the price is 1199 not 1200 :)

I am halfway through it. Bought five copies from Urdu Bazaar @770PKR each. One for myself and remaining for friends. It’s not up to Aab e gumm’s sky high standards as rightly mentioned inthis article, but still very much a great read for all who admire and enjoy previous works of Yousufi Saheb.

I bought it for Rs 900 from Fazlee books.

I think you got it from Jehangir Books (the publishers).

@Mirch Its not sold out. I saw around a dozen copies (First Edition) at Fazlees.

Got these from Al-Bilal Book Center. The additional discount was due to the quantity. I bought some other books too apart from 5 copies of sham-e-sher-e-yaraan.
