Musharraf's Reluctance

to shed uniform, was evident at the ceremony yesterday. Look at the pic how he is looking at the stick.

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

My friend just saw a man in his underwear running frantically from the army house towards the Presidency followed by a brigade of SSG Commandos !!!

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

Thats a classic example of criticism for the sake of criticism

You are BOUND to shake and get teary when you serve an institution for 46 years and you are leaving it.

Yahaan tu look 5-10 saal kisee jaga raheen tu jatey howey dukh hota hai ...its HUMAN NATURE .... only if you want to understand it :)

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

^ He is teary because he knows without this institution his hold on his beloved kursi is numbered.

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

was this guy in underwear any of the Gujrat Chodhri brothers by any chance? :cb:

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

My mistake .....of course you cant make someone understend if they dont want to ... enjoy :)

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

Time will show if COAS seat is more powerful or President of Pakistan. You will see by your own eyes. He already transfered couple of powers from COAS to President. Specially the control of nuclear weapons. << it may be old news but its worth reminding.

He will be the most powerful Commander In Chief in history of Pakistan. Army is not going to take over anymore. He has the 58 2(B), we will see who is going to take "panga" with him.

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

^Dil key behlaney ko ghalib ye khiyal achHa hai.

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

I think this is the same man who was seen running naked from Kargil towards his mama’s lap a decade ago. At least this time he had his underwear on.

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

ifti is getting more chitrol?

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

The poll shows on the right that majority of people don’t want dictators, what so ever. And among Pakistani pharaohs, he is at the bottom. Even below Zia the loser.

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

^^ bechara cj pehle kaproon mein bagahya ab underwear mein wah ji wah. God bless commander in chief for this. May Allah save Pakistan.

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

Excuse me!!! You made a mistake in interpreting the “poll” that you are referring to. Even if you assume that poll is legitimate then this shows that

Ayub Khan (supported by 22.8%)
Yehya Khan (supported by 2.8%)
Zia Ul Haque (supported by 17.2%)
Musharraf (supported by 16.7%)
People who did not supported any DICTATOR (40%)

so by the poll you mentioned by your own 59% (i.e. Majority) of the people sided with a dictator

So as per RUH of democracy there should be DICTATOR SHIP in Pakistan as around 60% people are FOR dictators and not AGAINST dictators

and true interpretation should be that MAJORITY od people want dictatorship instead of your interpretation that majority dont want dictatorship

Having said all this, I know that this poll means nothing and Majority of Pakistanis still believe on democracy

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

and 16.7 is greater than 2.8 from what I leant in my elementary school.
damn you Mrs Khan, u taught me wrong math!!!

PS: as far as zia and musgarraf goes 16.7 vs 17.2 … whats the confidence interval in the poll

PS2: in a few years the poll will be different, people forget, see how they are welcoming viceroy benazir with open arms

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

lol....it made you guys to check out the poll atleast. j/k

majority of pakistan had - does - will always support democracy. you know and I know that.

If the right poll is conducted, that would show you what ppl want.

I don't know why but moderators here don't like polls unlike KK.

I demand a direct GS poll, do people want democracy or military rule (in any form).

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

poll came back at you real hard,... heen na ? ;)

Re: Musharraf's Reluctance

bhai sahab toh agar yeh wrong poll tha toh issay kyun quote kiya tha, yeh toh aap kay argument ko support naheen karta.

yaar PM the mods, and copy ehsan bhai, one of them will open it for u
u may want to specify if u mean real democracy or the topi drama putli tamasha we had in the 90s or the idher hum udher tum daramay baazian.

while u are at it, can u also request a poll for who ppl want to see as the new PM

Nawaz, BB, none of the above etc

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

sure sure…I will do it in few hours.

**bhai sahab toh agar yeh wrong poll tha toh issay kyun quote kiya tha, yeh toh aap kay argument ko support naheen karta.
**

The question was different, from which of the following pharaohs of Pakistan you like. And then they added none of above, that got the most vote  So it was a little derailed, but still showed that even on the question asked among the dictators themselves, ppl opted for none of above :hehe: That shows a clear sign that a large amount of ppl don’t even like the comparision of the dictators.

And it has special meanings for the supporters of ‘The greatest leader since Quaid-e-Azam’ maharajah zillay subhaani. Go figure.

Too bad, Yahya Khan was ignored. I think I hate him the most .lol…

Re: Musharraf’s Reluctance

So I assume when only 19%/20% of eligible people cast their vote in general election this means “None of them” …right ?
