Musharraf's demise - a possible scenario

If we go by the average life expectancy of Pakistanis, Musharraf in his 60s is pretty close to his time for u know what. So what exactly is our contigency plan once the bawa-jee expires, which reminds me there were some rumours of him passing away last year too… Will the 2ic take over, or will chaudhry shujaat become the interim president? I am not talking about assasination attempts, as thats a different issue, just natural death…

no worries on that front Spock not that I would ever want to wish death on anyone. Musharraf is only 64 (+ error of 3-5 in Pakistani chor birth certificates)

Looking at some of our ex-presidents Rafiq Tarar turns 78 on Nov. 2 and Ghulam Ishaq Khan died in October 2006 aged 91. And our most impressive president to date Fazal Ilahi Ch. died aged 78. Leghari is 67 now.

Re: Musharraf's demise - a possible scenario

Spock, average life expectancy is for an average citizens. Mushy ain't no average citizen. He will be around for another 20-30 years unless jihadis take him out.
