But you must answer my question...how could a normal poster in this case AliG edit his post from the quote I have used in the reply...

if you are sure the posts were edited, then a mod may have edited it, but not for the reasons you think. maybe there was something offensive that needed to be edited out.
Ravage when mods delete post they notify through a personal message...mods never edit anybody's post....they simply delete them....how could somebody edit his post even from a quote used in an answer..
As far as you are concerned I am satisfied with your explaination...

Musharaf is the best leader that Pakistan has ever produced and i do salute him for whatever he has done!!!
he must be unpopular as u say, but for me popularity really doesnt matter its the person from inside!! and i do honestly say he has given, saved and protected Pakistan from that supposedly war attack on Iran by America/Israel from Paki borders which will definitely happen if he is removed from his post!!!

On a serious note...I do not believe in a single person's ability...I believe in rule of law and institutions...while you believe illegal President Musharraf no matter how brutally he plays with the constitution of our country has the capacity to steer the country out of problems, and for that you don't mind him even taking illegal actions ...end of the day both of us want to see well being of our country...and want to see our country coming out of all this mess...we just have a difference of opinion on the solution to the problems being faced by our nation...without suspecting eachother's intention...we should respect our difference in opinion...
