Well, money speaks louder than truth. No country can deport because someone belonged to a party that some have branded terrorist or whatever. So, this news itself is BS. If this news was true than many from Karachi should get deported as many in Canada from Karachi support MQM or could be member of MQM.
If someone may have got deported, it could not be because he is/was member of MQM but maybe he had some record that Canadian government found out that link him to terrorism of some sort.
For instance, I am sure Canada would not deport PPP and PML members because they are thugs and thieves, just because both parties are party of thugs and thieves. Though, it is possible that a PPP or PML member may get deported because Canadian government comes up with documentary proof that shows that the person was involved in terrorism, looting, plundering or murder (as many from these parties are involved in all these),
If this news is true than all Muslims from Canada should get deported too as people in many country brand Islam as religion of terrorist, and thus anyone who was ever member of this religion (aka was/is Muslim) should be deported. Though, I am sure that if a person is found out that he is Muslim and was involved in terrorism, may get deported. Now what you think, because of negative propaganda, many in west consider Islam a religion of terrorist, does it mean that all Muslims are terrorists or that Islam is really terrorist religion?
So, either this news is BS as that is most likely or Canadian law is BS (though that is very unlikely, as news may have got manipulated or it is fabricated).
