This is the same brand of arrogance our politicians have used in the past to make themselves look like victims.
Zardari spends 7 years in jail, and proclaims innocence only because Nawaz Sharif was too chicken to prosecute him properly.
Nawaz Sharif escapes to Jeddah with a truckload of baggage, and proclaims innocence because ‘he was forced to spend all this time in exile’.
Benazir eats the country inside out, and then signs an NRO, and comes back, pretending to be a hero.
Musharraf messes up the country in his latter years, and now comes back, again proclaiming innocence, and pretending he had to live a horrible life in exile.
All these thugs enjoy their affluent lifestyles overseas with stolen money, and return like victims who havent had a single morsel of food since being ‘evicted’ from Pakistan. Fact is, all these folks left Pakistan on their own terms. All of them should be in Adiyala, sharing a cell.
Its all very good, one thing is bugging me though. Zardari had the government for five years, why did he not initiate proceedings against Musharraf according to article 6 (after all only the government can do that)?
Because that was a part of the NRO deal. Even PML-N did not initiate anything. Again, part of the 10 year Umra package via Jeddah..
And those deals are still valid, which is why these thieves are quiet.

Adiala jail is the best option for such a criminal .
^^^ It is really good news what is happening with Musharraf. I think Musharraf leaving army post and getting into politics was probably an alternative and more favourable way for army to get into power. But, it seems that may not work (I am not sure, but it seems that way). In my view, this is nice to happen, as alternative result is only one, and that is:
I am pretty sure, army chiefs are getting good message, and next army chief to bring martial law would never shed his uniform, would never lift martial law in country, would never leave his control over armed forces, would never trust any politicians, would never look for cooperation from Politicians, would be extremely harsh on religious extremists, would never tolerate anyone who may try to put obstacle in his path (judges, journalists, or whoever), and would only pass the rule on his dead bed or due to ill health, to next army chief.
So, that would be end of sham-democracy or trial democracy in Pakistan and that would start an era of authoritarian rule in Pakistan (what we see in most Muslim countries). It may not be the best I like, but I believe would be better than corrupts ruling, looting, plundering and destroying Pakistan.
But then, we have to realise that Pakistan is corrupt society. Regardless of looting and plundering that goes on in Pakistan unashamedly, Pakistani politicians and bureaucracy is so corrupt that they would not even hesitate to sell Pakistani lands and resources to country like India, Israel or USA permanently and cut down Pakistani defence force to nothing.
I believe, if India would be willing to pay Zardari or Nawaz (or whoever in power) few billion dollars in their Swiss account, than they would do everything to not only withdraw Pakistani claim over occupied Kashmir, but would even handover Pakistani held Kashmir to India. Iran may buy Baluchistan from Pakistan by paying similar amount, and China may buy Gwadar plus a route access from Gwadar to China permanently, and Sindh and KPK (if Iran do not buy Baluchistan than Baluchistan too) could also get independence from Pakistan if right politicians in Islamabad are paid properly.
Foreign countries can also achieve similar result if they start investing heavily in Pakistani politics, bureaucracy and media. Unfortunately, if political investment or such payments would happen (and I believe political investment has already started happening … that is, investing of India in Pakistani politics … as claimed by Shaikh Rasheed on TV) than there is no force in Pakistan (other than military generals) to stop disintegration of Pakistan, because no civilian forces in Pakistan can stop corrupt executives to do what they like. Until now, politicians in power have not done that in fear of armed forces, but … hmm … let see.
Too emotional, lacking sanity and common sense. You need some tranquilizer to calm yourself down, otherwise a heart attack is eminent. Just think Mush as a cold blooded murderer, a common thief, thug, liar, corrupt and last but not the least most incompetent general. That is his true qualifications.
I don’t know why he came to Pakistan? There is definitely mistrust between him and person who gave him guarantee that nothing could happen to him eh! He did not heed advice of his true friend ex General Shuja Pasha, the former ISI chief.
