JERUSALEM - Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak held talks in Paris last week with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf even though their countries have no diplomatic relations, officials said on Monday.
The two men first met by chance in the hotel where Barak was staying and spoke briefly, a spokeswoman from his ministry told AFP.
The following day, Musharraf invited Barak for a meeting and the two talked for about an hour, focusing on Iran’s nuclear programme, she said.
Israel and Pakistan, the world’s second-most populous Muslim country, have no official relations.
However, Musharraf and the now coma-stricken former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon shook hands on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in September 2005.
Two weeks earlier, foreign ministers from the two countries met in the first such high-level encounter, which aimed to help normalise relations.

In my opinion, if we are of the opinion that Israel is oppressing our Muslim Palestinian brothers then, we should be boycotting Isreal on all fronts including trade let alone getting worked up on a simple ayah "translated, and not interpretted" from Quran. :)

2:120 was unvieled as a response to 2.113 and not as a generic commandment for all Jews and all Christians.
