Let me give you one example, as soon as the new Govt came in, the suicide attacks happening on a daily basis stopped, and things were in much better condition. Everyones willing to give the new Govt a chance, except Mr. Musharraf who now thinks that he can stay quiet and be the President for life, while still having some of his henchmen creating trouble for the new Govt. They are leaving no stones unturned to fail the new Govt, and the only solution is to give the 'elected' Govt a chance, which will only happen if he leaves by himself (sparing us this impeachment confrontation). 8-9 years is more than enough for a self imposed dictator. Its time for him to pack his bags and get out of Pakistan for good.
opposition has always created trouble for those in power as long as it is done properly. mischief has been an issue in Pakistani politics in the 90s with nawaz and BB trading accusations.
Now if the 'trouble' is not mischief but elected people who are politically exercising their power to impact the direction of the rulong coalition, that is part of democracy.
I fully want him to resign but i dont think that is the only thing preventing these parties from doing much. while Musharraf and PML-Q may be a thorn in the side, the ruling coalition in general seems inept, and that is not just me saying it.
so he gets impeached Monday, kewl, one chapter closed move on. What is teh govt going to do on Tuesday? what are their plans..or will they start sitting down to write their plans then?
